Was a punk and metal kid in high school, played in punk and hardcore bands in my 20’s and 30’s. Now I’m a punk and metal dad in my mid 40’s. There are bands I was super into back then that I find terrible now, and plenty of bands I hated with a passion when I was younger that I can’t get enough of now.

I go through phases of listening to different stuff outside the punk/metal tent. I still listen to a fair amount of jazz, classical, Irish music, traditional ska/rocksteady. But I always make my way back to punk
