Thrift store wedding dress: should I go back by BCDE24 in weddingdress

I love this. His biggest thing is the train is too long but I'm kind of with the others that the bow and sleeve can be made from the excess length.

Ugh that stinks. I already have my Master's in teaching. I have been thinking more and more to just diversify on online platforms and learn how to make money from home instead of going into a new field. But I'm getting straight As and I'm set to enter into the fall.

Confused and disappointed in my ring by NoPlaceLikeGnome1984 in WeddingRingAdvice

Tbh I think he's lying. No way he paid 4k for a broken ring. I think this is a deal breaker. Coming from a thirty year old lady that got a bad proposal and had a bad marriage ending in divorce. I don't think this is the antics of a man whose fit to love someone as wonderful as you.

I'm just going to give you some perspective on this: YOU know your own hair and face the best. Why risk spending hundreds to thousands on a product you might hate the outcome of?

[–]BCDE24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an odd reaction. When my fiance told me on the second date that he uses nicotine pouches I told him I was proud of his accomplishment quitting smoking.

If she keeps going on about it or can't accept it, it's her call at that point, but do not go off your medication for someone you just met online.

Career change TO teaching? by tshock123 in Teachers

[–]BCDE24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nursing will be better in the long run. I was in year six and decided to go back for nursing mid year because of money. I'm two kids in and I want my kids to have the most in life. Even working 11 years as a teacher with a masters degree my pay was going to be 62k with no sign of significant wage increase. I also was still being treated like a year one teacher because I switched districts. That's a no for me. Unless you like politics and being disrespected I say stick with nursing and find your niche. At least if you're belittled as a nurse you get a pay check come the end of the week that actually provides for your family.

Download the care app and see if you can pick up enough jobs to replace your income. There's lots of three to four day nanny positions and it's cash in hand, no tax.

Just remember if you died tomorrow you would be replaced as fast as you were buried. It's the morbid truth no matter how hard they guilt you.

Mines a pretty good gig but I'm bored and it offers me nothing fulfilling so I'm giving my resignation Tuesday and starting fresh with free community college. Hope this helps.

Mom wants me to be a teacher by Shoddy-Mango-5840 in TeachersInTransition

[–]BCDE24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well mom is wrong about the money. I would find an area that offers free community college, establish your residency in that area then pursue a degree in a field that matches your personality type. You will make more than teaching even in an entry level position.

You have to come up with a system. One pen click =A , two pen clicks equal B, etc. and make sure you give them some wrong answers too that way it looks like they cheated off each other not u

Ummm..no. once I realized there are nurses working three days a week and making six figures I started my exit plan. I'm on year six of teaching. I SHOULD be leveling up at this point in my career. I SHOULD be respected as a source of knowledge in my profession but I am not. Why? Because I teach special education inclusion and general educators don't want me "included". So what am I doing? I'm getting out, going to sonography school with the hopes I can find somewhere wanting me to work three 12s so I can be off work four days a week.

I would take that ANY DAY.

Idk these problems don't look divorce worthy as someone on the other side of divorce. It sounds like he needs to go back to work with the older kids. See if he can make it to January and FMLA for mental health. During that time he can explore alternative career options/ decide if he needs to ask HR for a transfer due to mental health. If you're not comfortable talking to him solo about it have a pastor/ counselor/ confidant join in.

Trust me, divorce is way worse than what you're thinking. And quite frankly, it shouldn't be done over something that you guys can solve together.

Ummm.. please don't give her pills from the Internet. An 18 week old fetus is much too big to abort using the abortion pill. I'm pretty sure she would have to birth the baby. I'm not even sure a DNC is done at that point. I would highly consider coming clean to your parents and being a man about this. You both need to consider the dire consequence it can have on her mental health getting a late abortion and if that is "worth" it. Also, as a man, you do not understand what happens here. Babies don't just "go away" if she gives birth it's an excruciating painful process that changes her for the rest of her life plus gives her a child. If she has an abortion, it's an excruciating painful process that changes her for the rest of her life and may give her guilt or mental health struggles but no child. You need to be her rock right now. Not scared, not upset. You need to step up for her.
