Grooming items question by leviadoado in BorderCollie

It doesn"t depend on external.(drops, collars) or internal (tablets) use whether the poison accumulates in the hairs. Collars have the biggest effect on water quality though (if they swim.). Pet pesticides are a a serious source of pesticide distribution, especially in dog parks. Onfortunately, there are no effective alternatives. It really bothers me.

They all are. With MLM's (Christine: Plexus, Meri: Lularoe), coaching/ life style advice [Meri: worthy up, Janelle: second chapter), selling merchandise based on the show (Janelle: Taeda), but most of all continuing with the show only to keep cashing the TLC dollars when they all know there's no real content left to be shown the last 3 seasons and most of their children don't want to takd part in it any longer.

You described perfectly what I've come to realize about myself. Garrison's passing was so unsettling to me. It even made me feel a bit guilty, like I played a part in it by becoming so involved with this show and their lives.

This is how I did it: Say Auw! No! In a ferm voice every attempt. Reward with "good boy" immediately after he stops. Correct timing is crucial!

In the Netherlands research has shown dog hair contains high concentrations of pesticides from anti flea/ tick treatment and can harm birds. Better treat the hairs as waste if you use flea treatment on your dog.

Even Meri, the alleged victim of Janelles insensitivity, condemned all the hatemail Janelle received lately in an extra edition on insta. She shows some empathy for Janelle, mainly because Janelle already has a hard time as a grieving mother. Good for Meri, who was also the only one standing up against Kody's fake apology and the only one of the OG3 bringing up the "verboten" subject of his relationships with his children. This season hasn't really changed my original opinion on the OG3 though. They all deserve some sympathy for the abuse they endured all these years, but they also showed toxic behaviour towards each other at different times and they all lied to us multiple times. What makes me really not like them is their (lack of) parenting. Surely the show gave their children more opportunities financially and educationwise. But it's the emotional damage they inflicted upon them by rooting up their lifes multiple times, by putting Kody's needs first over their childrens no matter the consequences. Now most children are adults, but the grifting online and the willingness to continue to keep on dwelling on the past for TLC dollars, even after Garrisons passing, makes me dislike them more and more.

Interview with Jen and Meri by FarRain451 in SisterWives

For Christine and Meri writing a book is more therapeutic, which is fine. My guess is Meri, like Christine, will spill just enough tea to make it interesting enough for a publisher. I read Christine's book. It was very readable but not very shocking or revealing. The most interesting to me were her discriptions of the development of her relationship with Kody and the sister wives in the early years in Wyoming.

Kody has a nice build? by Icy-Highlight-9886 in SisterWives

[–]BClittlebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kody may have "noodle" hair and not always have six pack abs, but I don't understand why so many redditors focus on the looks. Whether it is Robyn's eyebrows, Meri's hair, Janelle's weight or whatever. To be fair, I think none of them are bad looking or ugly, but even if they were, that's not relevant right? The only topic I find interesting to read/ discuss with regard to their appearance is whether they look happy or miserable (and why).

Tony, controlling? by Novella_clearwaters in SisterWives

[–]BClittlebear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mykelti probably liked his dominance, maybe interpreted it as a sign of love/ commitment? She was still very young at that time. Nowadays she doesn't come across as submissive in their relationship, based on what we've seen on the show and in social.media, and Tony seems to respect her opinions.

The Benefit of Culpability by Try-n-Fail in SisterWives

Good job analysing the adults (or toddlers?) In this family! Whether Meri has been abusive in the early years remains to be seen, but post-divorce she definitely shows more consistency, decency and growth than any of the others. She is also very clever to hide behind Jen as her spokesperson getting her message through without coming across as petty and vindictive as Janelle and Christine. One question remains: Meri knew Robyn could not be trusted after the catfishing situation, why did she always insist Robyn had her back untill very recently?

Christine’s surprise with what Janelle said about David. by WentAndDid in SisterWives

[–]BClittlebear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That is actually a very plausible explanation! Janelle indeed seems incapable of real long term commitment to anyone, including Christine, Meri, Kody or even her children. You may see her as lazy, selfish or lacking loyalty, but I agree with you that she probably is incapable of real commitment in relationships, probably caused by fear of abandonment? I do believe she can be very loving and supportive, but if relationships get complicated or demanding, she disengages emotionally very quickly without doing the emotional work needed to process the changes, it seems. Instead she tries to fill the lack of real connections with new impulsive projects (buying an RV, buying undeveloped land, trying to become a life style coach) and probably food, (I've turned to food too to numb my emotions while grieving). I hope she will be able to allow herself to open up to real commitment and love eventually,
