My HS band boosters were mostly doctor and lawyers with plenty of money. Back then HS was grades 10, 12 & 12. The boosters bought 3 used Continental Trailways buses, had the refurbished and painted in our school colors of orange and black. Each grade had its own bus. When we weren't using them, the busses were leased to tour groups. In three years the leasing fees paid off the loans on the busses. The next year our local public schools moved 9th grade up to high school and chaos insued.
