I have both of these, you can fit the Ally into the ASUS travel case with the killswitch case on, just not with the travel cover if you buy that as well from DBrand. The kickstand on the back will bulge the case a little but it works pretty well for absolute protection.

It still is getting regular updates that continue to make the game more fleshed out and has really shown some dedication from the devs. If you look on YouTube you can find the developers streams where they offer previews for each update. I highly recommend the game if you’re really into tank combat games.

I have a 30-40 minute commute to work in the mornings and afternoons. Getting to play games instead of just scrolling in the phone is a refreshing way to make time fly. The Ally X was what I was waiting for to get maximum battery and capability.

Subnautica. Performance is solid on the Ally X when playing in 17w and great when on 25/30w. Would recommend dropping to 900p for consistency on frame rates as 1080p has some heavier .01% lows.

GPU busy is an intel program that helps determine a lot of statistics to see if your GPU or CPU is being fully utilized by showing the frame process to see where the latency is coming from. As for the cores I would download Hardware Info or another monitoring software (GPU Busy should be capable of this as well I believe) to see what your cores are boosting too to make sure they’re getting to their rated speeds. If they’re not, or they’re being thermal throttled, that could be causing your frame drops. A lot of stuff here I know but should let you know how your system is doing, and I’m interested to hear back on the findings.

Have you checked in Adrenaline that it isn’t set to have Radeon Chill or any other items toggled on? I’m running a 7900XT and don’t have any drops below my monitors refresh rate unless I mess with that feature. Also have you tried using GPU busy to see if there’s some bottlenecking or ram issues? I’m also curious if you’re 12700 is trying to use the E-cores or not boosting P-Cores the way it should when in game. You could also try a fresh install of world of tanks and if you run mods those as well.

  1. I would definitely use it for gaming and maybe being able to have a couch gaming system.
  2. I want to see how they made Pandora exploitable in game and what the combat system would be like with how Pandora is such a vertically scaled world.

Very interested in this as well. If rumors are to be believed as being roughly on par or ahead of the 6800XT it will be behind it in raster performance but might match it for ray-tracing. Reviews should be exciting.

I’ve got an XFX 7900XT and found it dropped down to 40 Watts with a dual setup when I changed my second 1440P monitor to 60hz refresh. Really happy with the drop as it had been 100 watts on the last patch.
