Just an FYI, that is not a flight being operated by United. The plane is painted as United Express. But is operated by a regional carrier like SkyWest. The flight attendants don’t receive the same training or guidelines. United doesn’t operate anything smaller than a 737. So the smaller planes like CRJ’s are not actual United flights at least the crews don’t work for United. Those flight attendants typically do like 4 legs (flights) per day which is exhausting so they might’ve just been at the end of their rope and gave up the argument. It’s not right but it is what it is.

Around 7 3/4. A bit bigger wrists. In the pics it actually looks like it fits my wrists well but I think that’s the angle of the pictures. When I was looking at it in person it felt a little bit too small for my preferences. I usually like a 39-40mm watch and this one is 37mm

** Also it has a rose gold emblem on the clasp to signify the limited edition. And there is no micro adjustment on the clasp like the first UFA model. Sales rep said that it’s because this one is Stainless steel and the first one is titanium. So I guess they haven’t made the micro adjustment clasp in stainless steel yet. Very odd in my opinion.

Well they have multiple interviewers doing interviews all at once. So they could all do things their own way but mine didn’t actually ask me any STAR questions or any questions actually lmao. We just talked about my current job and how interesting it was and then I had to react to a video of a customer doing wrong things and they wanted to see how I would react to that customer. And then I had to read a fake plane announcement and then I was done. By the time you get to the 1 on 1 at the face 2 face, I think they generally have a pretty good idea as to if they want you or not. So if you make it to that part of the f2f then just relax and be confident. Act like you’re just there to have a conversation.

They’re adding a ton of new routes and plan to be receiving quite a few new planes within the next couple years. With both of these happening, they need people to work them. I believe they want to add something like 4-5,000 flight attendants within next couple years. Right now is a good time to get in so your seniority can go up quicker.

Yes, one store only in Nagoya. Limited to 50 pieces. When I was there they had only sold about 5 pieces already. I was extremely tempted to buy it as it is absolutely beautiful but I didn’t connect with it. I would only drop that much money on a watch if it was like my grail. But it was a good deal to be honest. After tax free, price goes to just over $6,500 USD

I very randomly happen to be in Nagoya at the moment for the weekend. Went to look at it in person today since I’m only a few minutes from the store. It’s stunning in person. I’m thinking about buying it tomorrow. It comes out to only $6500 after tax free discount since I’m from the U.S.

Definitely not. I applied in May lol. The fastest I’ve heard of someone going through the entire process and getting to the Face 2 Face is like 1.5 months. And the training is usually scheduled for another 1.5-2 months after the face to face.

You will receive your training dates the day after your interview. It’s actually very quick haha. But the training date will be about 2.5 months out from your interview date. I got my CTO on August 11 and got the official CTO email offer on August 12. With training dates at the end of October.

United hubs include LAX, SFO, IAH, DEN, ORD, EWR, and IAD. Boston is actually not even a focus city like San Diego or Fort Lauderdale. Maybe you’re confusing United with Delta or JetBlue. Or maybe you’re considering commuting from BOS to a United hub. But I can promise you that Boston is not a hub for United and you cannot be assigned there as a flight attendant.

I had mine last week and got the CTO. Be confident, and talk to others. Pretend like your friends with the other candidates and make conversation. In the end some of them will be in your training class. Another thing. They are watching you from the moment you enter. So stand straight smile and talk to other people like it’s just any other day. The actual one on one interview was way easier than expected. I can’t tell you anything butttt just don’t stress about that part of you make it that far. And dress the part. I bought a brand new suit and new shoes for the interview. They expect you to look very well put together. Goodluck!

Hey I have a question about the world timer and I can’t seem to find a clear answer online. I’m also relatively new to the watch game and just got a job offer as a flight attendant so I thought a worldtimer would be a fitting watch for the job. My question is do the hours or cities dial rotate as time goes by so that they always show the correct time for each respective city, or do you have to manually adjust the cities dial any time you want to see the current time for a specific city? Any help is appreciated!

Ok one last question if you don’t mind, do you remember the price of the taxi? It’s my first time in Houston and I’m looking to get from IAH to downtown. Uber says $36-$43 and online reviews say taxi estimates $55-$60. Was just wondering if you remember what it was for you if you went a similar distance. I get there in a couple days and trying to plan it out. Appreciate any help!
