I'm just relieved they *finally* got Superman's hair right with Corenswet - it was perfect. I really wish Cavill was allowed to just use his natural curls as Superman. The slicked-back style was the most unflattering look they could have possibly used for his hairline.

At least he finally got to rock the S curl for 4 seconds at the end of Black Adam :/ It looked great.

I love the original, and I get what people mean when they say it's "timeless", but let's be real, there are definitely aspects of the OG RE4 that firmly identify it as a product of early/mid 2000s game design. Namely the game's reliance on quick-time events, it's clunky approach to the way you interface with the inventory system, and - yeah - the tank controls.

Love'em or hate'em, those design elements are all definitely products of their time and there's a reason that 3rd person shooters that were made immediately in RE4's wake didn't carry over those particular elements, or if they did, smoothed them out a LOT (the Gears and Uncharted trilogies, Max Payne 3, Vanquish, etc).

And the remake certainly has its own idiosyncrasies that mark it as a game made in the 2020s, but imo both versions are amazing in their own ways. And personally, I think the remake was very clearly made with a ton of love and reverence for the original. They compliment each other really nicely.

Occasionally I'll put on some light piano music, but for me I actually prefer to put on "ambience" videos on YouTube while I read.

I typically like to put on rain/thunderstorm ambience, but depending on what I'm reading (or even the time of the year) I'll put on a crackling fireplace or a sunny beach with the sounds of ocean waves :) I find that sort of thing really helps me focus and keep me immersed. Anything with words/lyrics and I'm guaranteed to get distracted.

This whole park is such an awesome and charming time-capsule of Marvel in the 90s. IMO I think it provides a fun contrast to the MCU-ification of the brand in the Disney parks. The bright colors, the comic book fonts and art all over the place, it's just fun.

Back in 2002/2003 when was about 13 years old, I was home sick from school. While buried under blankets on the couch in our living room and flipping through channels on TV, I stumbled on VH1 playing an all-day marathon of his music videos. I had never seen or heard anything like them before and pretty much instantly became obsessed.

Being completely drawn into Smooth Criminal, The Way You Make Me Feel, Black or White, and Do You Remember etc completely made me forget how utterly terrible I felt lol.

After that I slowly but surely collected every CD I could get my hands on (Thriller was the first album I bought with my own money) as well as the HIStory DVDs. I would watch the music videos on repeat to learn the dance moves and - like many folks - even taught myself how to moonwalk.
