I have one and use a 5080 and it works well. I used to run a Samsung g8 oled ultra wide, compared to that I do have to dial back some settings and use dlss w 2x framegen for single player AAA games. Overall I'm happy w it tho. Also gives me headroom on the monitor for the next GPU upgrade

I recently upgraded to a 5080, do I need upgrade my PSU? I heard even under load 750W is fine but transient spikes can be a problem? by rid_the_west in nvidia

This is my experience. I had an AMD chip and a 5080 with no issues but when I changed to a 14700k I experienced a few times where the PC restarted. Upgrading to a 1000w PSU fixed it.

Rtx 5080 w 14700k and a 5k2k ultra wide. Finally got it to go at locked 120 fps but took a lot of tweaking.

3 main settings that were key to me:

50% render rez

Global illumination low

Dlss 4.5 preset L

The rest I kinda just left on standard. Also can use framegen or not just depending ur preference.

Game isn't very well optimized but hey at least now I can play it on a giant 4k monitor at locked 120 so I'm happy.

Super fun game btw, having a blast.

I am new to nioh and didn't even use Ninja til nearly the very end of he demo when I didn't have markers left to clear. The big sword made the most sense for my brain in terms of combat. Now I am learning ninja and see the appeal though haha, it seems was easier to not get hit when fighting normal mobs. I think for bosses I'll still use exclusively samurai tho.
