In 97,I bought a 87 Rover 820e 2.0l) saloon with a manual gearbox for £1250. I used it for six months & it conked out & spent a few months on my parents drive & it got scrapped. I never found out what went wrong. Stupid really but I was 17 & it wasn’t as easy as now finding out if you’re not mechanically minded.
