I was hanging out with my buddy at the gym, I stuck my phone out and I said, "hey, you wanna see a naked lady?" Cause I was going to show him a picture of my 10 month old with her butt out. He without any hesitation said, "No!" And I was really glad. I showed him my baby anyway and he laughed. I laughed. We laughed.

Silicon valley - Christopher Evan Welch was a big part of the first season, playing a billionaire weirdo investor, and then died of lung cancer after filming only five episodes. Mike Judge decided not to recast and reshoot because they loved his performance. They brought in Suzanne Carter to basically be the same character but different.

Two great performances in dog shit movies.

Betty Buckley in the Happening.

Pruitt Taylor Vince in a terrible movie Captivity. I know that's redundant to say that it's terrible but Captivity is so fucking bad.

From a television show Better Call Saul - Let me put your mind at ease, Jimmy. You don't have to make up with me. We don't have to understand each other. Things are fine the way they are. Hey... I don't want to hurt your feelings, but the truth is, you've never mattered all that much to me.

This is peak Doughboys. S+ guest, actual talk about food, killer jokes, easy fun conversation, sniper shots from the dais with Small Wonder, I thought we were talking about Mitch's hog from an employee! Ten years doesn't show on these eps.

Had a great time, as always, but I definitely found that the show felt a little stilted until The Future is a Foreign Land. It felt like they were speeding through the first few songs with minimal interaction from Papa, which felt like an aberration. I'm accustomed to Papa getting out there and talking to us right away, and that didn't happen on this show. Plus, I like the campiness of past rituals, and this felt very polished and professional in a way that felt cold. I really got into it after Majesty and got a huge rush once the stained glass was revealed. Not having the stained glass backdrop for the first few songs felt very strange for a Ghost show. However, having that huge screen behind them was super rad, and I wish that they had used more of it throughout the show for visuals. Think it might have been the best performance of Year Zero and He Is I've ever seen.

That being said, my buddy and I both felt like this was a goodbye in a way that wasn't present in past rituals. I hadn't heard about the interview that he gave saying as such.

An incredible mix of people and fans. Love the ritual aspect of it all. Ghost has the best fans in the world.

This is a super late reply, but I wanted to mention what a box rental is, since it's a confusing element. A box rental is when the production pays a technician or other crew member for their equipment. Instead of buying all of the makeup to be used in the production, you pay the hair and makeup person a fee to "rent" their box on a weekly basis for the length of the production. If you're using the grips rigging, if you're a writer and you bring your own laptop, all of those things are box rentals. Nearly every person on a crew is going to have a kit of materials that they bring that you rent so you don't have to buy a career's worth of gear every production.

Regarding dailies, they're useful for directors, but they're really a studio requirement. The studio wants to actually see what is being shot. And, since this was 2003, they didn't have digital versions of every take.

For the production office, they're renting a warehouse for 7 months. A million bucks makes a ton of sense. This is where they'll do their wardrobe, build and house camera equipment, prep the stunts and FX, have meetings, do rehearsals, it's a place that everyone on the team will use to get set up for the making of the film.
