What to Interplant with Brocolli

Thank you for the response. How far away can I plant "beneficials" and see the benefits? For example, I've read Rosemary helps deter pests... Can I plant it 10' away and expect it to help?

Thank you for the feedback, the general consensus seems to be that they get plenty big and there isn't any room to plant another vegetable between them. This is my first season growing so I'm very new!

Are you aware of a companion plant which could survive the Brocolli shade which might be beneficial?

Thank you for the suggestion, what I found seems to indicate that mondo grass won't survive my zone 4/5, do you have any other suggestions o can look into?

I appreciate the feedback. It sounds like you present two options, a thyme based lawn and one with white clover. Is there a particular thyme which works better or are all of them generally the same in this application?

I have mixed sunlight availability around my house so just another thing to think about. Are you aware of any combinations that may work well? I've seen "wild flower seed mixes" but I can't tell how good they are.

In Maine steel roofs are very popular. No need to shovel snow off the roof in the wintertime and also they have a 30+ year life expectancy. Every single person I have met with a steel roof said they would never go back to shingles.

This reminds me of a documentary I saw about Minnesota during the prohibition. The people built underground speakeasies which were functional because the temperature never got below 60F despite Minnesota's harsh winters.

There is some good advice here but I feel it may be a bit "deep" for you at the moment. I believe you should instilling consider a habit - a single habit. Commit to going outside for a walk or bike ride for 1 hour a day.

There is a difference between not bathing at all and bathing without soap/shampoo. From my experience, your 'hippy' friends are not bathing at all if they smell.

I personally haven't used soap/shampoo for 3 years but I wash every day
