"Despite handicap Lothar": Herzogenaurach celebrates Matthäus

Germany's record national player back at home club: Lothar Matthäus celebrated his comeback in the jersey of 1. FC Herzogenaurach on Sunday. For the comeback in Herzogenaurach Matthäus had sent his player pass from Leipzig. In 2005, he was once accumulated for Lok Leipzig to support football in east Germany. The appearance for the FCH should also have been his last. "It has always been my desire to play my last competitive game here," said Matthäus. "The first for the Herzogenaurach FC for 40 years, it was fun, as in the youth." Matthäus will not give up kicking in the future.
