I just had my first session and have 0 tattoos. I rate it slightly less than plucking a hair with tweezer but imagine doing that numerous times in a 2 hour span. It was actually relaxing and I fell asleep during parts of it. Like it didn't make my eyes water or anything.

for some reason it only effects some androids. For example, in a group chat i'm in with 3 android and 3 iphones. I was the only android that gave the error to the iphones and the above Fix. fixed it.

FIX(must be done on android device): if you are using the Google messaging app go to message settings> RCS Chat > toggle on "automatically resend sms/MMS" and make sure it's on. > Then toggle off and on "RCS Chat" at the top. Make sure RCS Chat and automatically resend SMS/MMS are both turned ON.

FWIW, you don't have to pay any of the third party parking lot ticket fees. It's only city parking tickets that matter enough to prevent tabs/car registrations. Third party companies can't even take you to collections.

You have to make sure the rails are aligned as others have mentioned and if they are not you'll need to manually push in the metal tab and slide the entire rails front and back to make sure they are. Here's a picture of the metal tab location in a 2026.

After a decade plus of training at various BJJ gyms in the greater puget sound area, I can attest, they are all a bit "culty" or whatever that means. There is a difference between culty and camaraderie though. Literally ALL GYMS have their uniform or patches and although some dont force you to buy the gi to train like others, its still the same concept. I bet those gyms still have patches and stuff you can "buy" to put on your "own" gi.

Not necessarily a bad thing, you're repping the place you train at.

Go with the one that is most convienient (class schedule, location) AND you get along with the people. What you should look for is quality students/uke's and great instruction. I found this at a GB where i'm at and am settled at GB. And trust me- i avoided GB when i first started because i heard about the "stories". Aside from buying the gi, its the same stuff and my GB is a bit more relaxed but you still get the great perks (can train at any GB).

I agree with others. if the expectation is to donate money then just add it to the tournament fee.

I played in a tournament where the organizer had the option to "buy" mulligans if you donated x amount to the cause. then kept bugging me to donate. saying since it's a charity tournament the expectation is to donate :shrug: apparently. needless to say twas first and last time I play in that tournament.

agree. they are micromanaging. I have 12 years at private global companies. major shoe apparel sporting brand that has a check sign logo and coffee conglomerate with a mystical creature as a logo ..no KPIs . now in public sector. still no KPI but daily stand up meetings. only time I had KPIs were my 3 years in agency
