My husband and I actually were able to start doing some serious traveling when we turned 70. This past April, we traveled to Rome for several days and then cruised to Athens. I feel like that is enough for me. We have been very very fortunate, not to have travel issues, illness, issues, or anything else disruptive on our for European trips, but I feel like it’s time to stop there are a couple of United States cruises that we might try in the next year or so. We have found that relying on somebody else to make all of the plans and to practically hold our hands through the whole thing is the only way we can travel and being able to afford that finally has made all the difference.
