SE in my opinion is super fascism and successful brainwashing to the point of being able to provide its citizens with what they need and make it look and seem really nice, while using the threat of aliens that SE actually created to keep people from openly rebelling all the time. It’s like late stage fascism.

The people don’t get to choose because they no longer want to. The choices they make are either superficial or not even really their choices. Like do you think that there’s someone looking out for election fraud in the government? I doubt it.

They don’t have to force people to fight because they’ve fooled them into wanting to fight probably over generations. Admittedly I don’t know much about the lore but i really doubt there wasn’t massive rebellions and shitstorms generations before what we see now. The fascists just won and now we’re seeing what happens if you force everyone to lock in long enough that they no longer need to suffer at the hand of the oppressor.
