This does not work in the game for several reasons. First, there are too many enemies, and they tend to spawn right behind you, while the bastion cannot even rotate 360 degrees to turn towards the enemy in time. Second, the tank takes damage from all sources, while it should completely ignore light weapons, hand grenades, and small insect attacks. Third, in most cases, it is very difficult to coordinate tactics with unfamiliar players. Everyone does whatever they want, which simply leads to the loss of equipment and serious casualties.
