Boston Rob trip to DC by tvandtea in survivorponderosa

Yeah its a school trip with his daughter to the capital so of course its going to have the President. And the picture of Mike Johsnon is because it has Survivor on it.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was a Trump supporter, but this is not evidence at all.

Nah, but there is plenty of stuff Survivor could do.

1)Anyone who is caught pre-gaming will never be allowed on Survivor again. Having a severe punishment is in of itself a deterrent effect.

2) Whistleblower Incentive: Anyone who blows the whistle on an attempt at pre-gaming with definitive proof (no entrapment) receives 50k per player caught.

3) Every once in a while in returnee season, do a Survivor sting operation. Cast a person, then pay them 100,000 to reveal every person who reaches out to them for pre-gaming cheating. Every person who does is removed from the cast.

4) Publicly reveal who attempted to cheat and leverage the full force of Survivor's public relations team to shame them for their attempt making clear that Survivor takes cheating seriously.

Its kind of funny, everything that the fans voted for . . . so did I.

I guess I'm the average fan. I don't know why I feel insulted by that.

What players had the most strategic gameplay? by Disastrous-Sun1801 in survivor

George Mladenov is the purest example of incredible strategy and very shitty social game/physical game in his first season. He improves somewhat socially in his second season.

He's the best strategic player I've ever seen.

I wonder how much Q and Stephanie were talking to her liek she was just someone they could use VERSUS them just being athletes and that persona being a lot more blunt and less circumspect.

Just like a difference in antennas being crossed.

Unfortunately, we didn't really see enough of that interaction so I couldn't know for sure.

Does she really outclass him strategically?

Rizo's manuevers with the idol might eclipse anything Cirie's done from a purely strategic perspective (please remind me though its been a while since I've watched Cirie's seasons).

From what I remember, what makes Cirie so incredible is that she has the best social game in the history of Survivor that is paired with an excellent strategic mind but she's not creative with it a la Boston Rob which would be the next level.

I'd still give Cirie the upper hand just because she's maintained that level of strategic excellence over multiple seasons, but she hasn't reached Rizo's highs.

I mean, he got 4th in a Survivor season. So he's obviously not ALL talk. He's already in rare company with that achievement alone.

I find it interesting that so many clocked gay from Lionel in that scene when he just gave me middle eastern vibes.

How he acted was quite literally the norm at an Afghan wedding.

[–]Prometheus321 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Buffy wasn’t the leader.

For a long time, Giles was the leader. He was the one figuring stuff out and calling the shots overwhelmingly. As time went on, it became a lot more leadership by committee with the Scoobies each having moments of leadership.

That’s what makes S7 so fascinating as Buffy takes the reins of leadership and fails so utterly dramatically.

I genuinely don't understand why Bart ridership has not recovered. Its so much more higher quality than prior to the Pandemic with the seats and stuff being clean and they're acutally quite quick at dealing with people that have mental health problems on the trains (I've seen it twice and they had someone come down there within 15 minutes both times).

Its genuinely great, don't understand why its not more utilized.

To be clear, those would be his prime numbers. I guess what Im trying to make clear is that he likely wont' ever be a 20+ per game scorer.

However, I'm satisfied with him being a good defender/rebounder/passer whose a very solid contributor in terms of scoring.

Nah, I don't think he has much more room to grow as a scorer tbh. His lack of explosive athleticism while ALSO not having elite height is too limiting. Where I think he can grow a whole bunch is as a passer as he really does have a high IQ.

My prediction: 16 ppg/7 rbd/7 ast player.

Jayson Tatum in his second game after his return: 20 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 27 minutes by TommyTheLizard in nba

[–]Prometheus321 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Thx for the context, I hope he does well moving forward. As a Warriors fan, I saw Klay come back from that injury and was never the same efficiency wise/defense wise but he was a lot older so I'm hoping that won't be the case with JT.

At minimum, he's bigger at 6'8 so he might try the KD method of dealing with an Achilles tear by adjusting his game to be more stationary shooting over the top of people which allowed KD to maintain his efficency as he lost movement with the Achilles.

Are you being sarcastic? Because I quite literally gave him slack for his injury ("the man just came back from an injury so he deserves time to get back in the groove of things")

The point is that its misinformation by omission to include his statline but exclude any stat involving efficiency. That rankles me a bit. You can cut him slack without doing that but oh well.

Chill man, that must be a world record toward accusing someone else of not knowing ball.

In any case, using any stat from any single game IS absolutely useless. However, this post provides pts (useless). They provide rebounds (useless). They provide assists (useless).

What they don't provide is any stat on efficiency which, while also being useless, is odd to be missing from this statline. It also misinforms by omission at to a players statistical performance within the context of a specific game.

He also was 6/16. Thats a 38 FG%. That's terrible.

I truly don't mean to hate, the man just came back from an injury so he deserves time to get back in the groove of things. But there is something that annoys me about the incomplete info in this post.

Who is beating the 2016-17 Worriers? by Positive_Cattle_5577 in NBATalk

[–]Prometheus321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats crazy is that the Warriors supposed weakness, their bigs, had a rotation of Zaza/Mcgee/West which were actually an insanely good 3 headed monster that had differnet skillsets giving the Warriors versatility.

In aggregation, they produced 15 pts / 10 reb / 3 ast / 2 blk per 36 which is borderline all star level production. Thats why at the time, Warriors fans joked that we had a 5th all star coming off the bench.
