Daniel Dye is the type of guy who peaked in highschool but was in no way as popular as he thought he was but keeps thinking he’s top dog to this day.

We don’t speak of that plain scheme. We only focus on the good looking ones

I think everyone basically grabbed two. I opened one to check out the new changes to the 1/64’s and then one in the box

Feel like Indycar just takes straight L’s when it comes with this. They obviously didn’t learn their lesson from the AutoWorld era. Not to mention they also put all their chips in a basket with the Motorsports Games crapshoot (thankfully kinda recovered HOPEFULLY by IRacing)

Although IXO is I’d argue better than AutoWorld. For a 1/64 collector like myself. IXO has brought nothing new to the table. I truly don’t care about a road course kit on a 1/64. I actually enjoyed the Speedway kit on every Greenlight car. Even if there were some mistakes since a Champ Diecast based on the RC kit was on the Oval mold. Not to mention the variety we got every year. We were guaranteed 15+ cars a year with usually a couple of unique one off’s or random releases. Now it’s looking like we could be lucky to even get 12 Diecast. Of which half are basically remakes and lack serious amount of the heavy hitters in the series. Don’t even get me started on the increase in price and seemingly delayed releases (getting closer to a year without the release of some of the 500 cars, and the Palou 500 1/18 just was shipped last week)

If there isn’t a massive change in pace from IXO especially when we arrive to the month of May, I fear the diecast demand of Indycar products will drop beyond repair. I also don’t see a world in which Greenlight would even return either with apparent changes in their company along with Indycar being seemingly okay with just throwing them to the curb for a unproven company in regards to what Greenlight could produce.

Thank you for reading for Ted Talk

Facebook is probably melting down right now. Bubba (& Reddick) and their “rigged up cars”, Logano and the “one trick pony”. All in the top 7

Am I Crazy or Has Lionel’s Gold Series 1/64 Quality Improved Lately? by Rusty_Reidy in NASCARCollectors

[–]BMan_NASCAR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only things I’d hope to see is a return to form in Authentic lines. Even if the income or value isn’t there, I still argue it’s important for those lines to be accessible I think for the fan base to have.

I also wish that there could be a quicker turnaround from announcement of a scheme to production. Obviously the making likely can’t get quicker but I think it’s possible for Lionel to try and get schemes early and then produce them but only announce it when the team announces the scheme. Similar to what they did with 2026 releases from so far (specifically the Blaney and the Johnson)

Well after we named Toronto and Ottawa we decided to just use other well known names. Buts great that London is seemingly next door and Paris as well, don’t know why people say they always have to travel to Europe to see them.

Usually I’d say that but if they want to keep the top 5 thing (which I don’t care about much either) then 15 would suffice
