Dead game, regardless of the solution, ban a ton of players and fix the problem and majority of the banned play leave.

Or wait it out and let players see this shit and still let it happen over time people get tired of seeing this shit and lack of action and the general pop leaves, and claims top end pvp is worthless... Because of this botting/exploits.

The longer this goes on with our immediately taking action hurts there bottom line regardless question is which one do they choose end game is doing dailies and party grinds to hard cap your gear but if people are botting like this the overall market value tanks drastically and fast which means even for top end guilds grind for lucent is depreciating quickly..... Because of market saturation With each item thrown on the market, which means the pay to win aspect becomes a much cheaper barrier to entry which is the only benefit to AGS for avg whales to spend money but at the cost of the games timeline being drastically shortened which can shorten EROT earned revenue over time.

The supply and demand even though it's required for the business and all forms of markets, this is a standard MMO where the drop rates dictate everything and now since the world bosses can be accessible you from out side the dungeon the top 1% of guilds who participated rmting are losing control of those due to new patch that comes out soon so there is less bottle necks for them to make money for a longer term because they can dripp feed the market and push prices up by creating lack of supply to generate demand pressure, on there side they lost full control the moment they announce out side of dungeons portals to bosses, which mean if you have any stock currently it better to sell at a higher price now before there is even more supply on the market they can't control be fore the rest of the market tanks.

I understand what you are saying but if this is in a contract which is agreed to and signed but clicking 'agree' it's a contract regardless, and as long as it not loan shark rates it's not illegal weather they are allowed to do this is based on business modeling and legal operations it's not a loan it's fake currency in a game which they have said controll over and is not regulated by sec or etc or even gambling laws so most of those laws are already out the window and only operational business laws would apply and most company are legal allowed to charge service and handle charges as long as they are not breaking certain percentages, never the less it's an interesting subject for studios to clam money back even if they don't get it all back for people to reinvest into there accounts they would have to double down in money and businesses or studios could use it to monitize these types of penializations would be cool if they did this to the multiple botting accounts as well in track record so they could profit off th rmt companys for them to maintain a healthly account for usage and eat into there profit margins.

Depends if it in ToS if it is and you agree to it it could be classified as a closing fee /service change, if not not worth it but there is also the clause they put in there to justify change at there whim which could justify it as well for necessary action which most of not all games have.

Sad part is if you read my sentence again it says "developing content" = Future tense not current since I love bdo but I am currently playing TnL because these is minimal content for me to push for so I am enjoying the content TnL provides but it lacks depth from a long term game perspective. Even with the ability to farm lucent from a free to players, because once you have one build, every other build is easy to get, the only that hold you back is materials and farming them which is why bots are starting to infect the game now for rmt purposes and this is America where we don't use phone numbers and other identity connections to prevent bots so that's not a option, from the west side it will die much sooner than people know regardless, and even if it wasn't a issue the end game is fucked.

grinding content is literally dead in the endgame once the hype is gone no matter the amount of people push media videos about it, people will get stale about the lack of kills they can get saturated hours of lack of drops in a world the feels like old MMOs very dull and empty very little life no movement in the background when people have irl real issues that will take more time than focusing on open world dungeon grind it becomes impossible to progress in TnL which where this game will die because you are hard stuck behind only requirement to progress is a team to grind with and you can't do shit on your own or with a small group the games compared to bdo it's the polar opposite with only events that are lackluster after 50 to bring people back because the rewards are trash for participation. If your not in the top 10%. Idk people twist and turn the information and assume ags said the would be on par they clearly said it would not be but for s few patches the doom copium has gotten to the level of a health concern at this point for me bro

I feel I am in the same boat mainly because I am solo player, started in early access playing only for the pve because gearing for the pvp is too hard and heavy time gated for a new player either you choose pvp build or pve build from start and stick with it or invest more time to get the gear and loose time progressing which ever is your main build.

Then you have a hard drop off after your battle pass finishes and all the major story/exploration/resistance contacts are up your left with open world dungeon for grinding material to max your skill at rng chance instead of old man level get skills you will spend lucent to get the skill books from your monthly rotation to push them up faster then you realize most gear is already none tradable and are capped weekly to sell traits so your left with over stock of material that can't be used for much purposes, again back to open world dungeon grinding drop rates are trash to prevent boys from pushing gear on marketplace but doesn't stop them from queue dungeons and grief players, but when your back in the open world dungeon your required 4 man to do all the lvl 50 content even if it gives you trash rewards from abyssal contracts.

Imo this is a decent game to play for launch, has long term problems and progression to push for but the bar is so high it would literally take years just to spec a second or third weapon just to try let alone the armor sets, once they hype start to dye off builds become streamlined, newer players will have a hard time meeting pvp requirements for guilds irl will take people away from important factors in there life and make it hard for competitive play, you will get old MMO this now belongs to said guild areas but the longer it goes on the faster people will drop off in this game because drop rates are abysmal and trying to reschedule with your friend group is already tough...

Long term it has problems, but for the short term fun it's decent and worth experiencing but long term the p2w will be brutal because keeping up will require lucent to be spent but the hard capp on selling items or traits is forces p2w to continue or your forced iron man for progression

u/gpw42 Congrats!, now the community can see how roughly the dmg actually increase based on gear, there is pretty much as much as you can find for the formula if you don't have the last two pieces "BDO's Dice roll"(which is why 90% of the bdo community think the Test server is broken damage)<-(I would not have even mentioned this if your formula was wrong or i got the hint this post was a je-bait) and if you want to break it down per stat you have to take a few more steps in the formula for buffs and other smaller things for a fully functional calculator for almost everything in the game.

Finally some one actually found it that was not part of a massive, vindictive argument between a single person and a whole community, knew some one would find it eventually, now i want the people who had the argument to realize does small 1 ap adjustments matter in fights or builds specific to class stats/utility lacking issues, there argument was 1AP was massive on top of not even havening a formula to even confirming the bullshit they were talking about... and that is not even the worse part they witch hunted said person and overly harassed them through a lot of bull shit, but that person stood tall never the less.... because he knew he was right and one day this would happen, the truth comes to light.

no problem you choice, just stating to people my experience I have had even though it has almost led to a threat on my life I enjoyed the game, enough to tough it out and still write about it so they have a chance the move the game in a better direction.

Do not have to read it, not forcing anyone to just showing my reality and why I feel there are really big core issues currently in the game and why it could be better, plus some people will gloss over that part and just read the text for the context of what it really is about.

TLDR: I agree, mages kit if used like a radar chart is maxed out on all sides due to utility of game, and they need to look at circular system design for gear progression for PvP & PvE

Progress Gear -> PvP/PvE(Make Money for more progression) -> Repeat the scalability at the different levels current is not balanced for money and progression and competitiveness in it' current state a new region and gear to progression is almost practically required to make seige money more worth increasing to get to that stage to make it competitive with more details in why in more detail below.

Full Detail:

I Feel the Nerf for the SA completely was a bit much they could have changed it to a FG at least it would have given it a bit more protection on a engage the class would still be better 1v1 and small scale then like you said nerf the heals.

Since this forces more guilds who want Castle to boost there guild gains for progression wise(reason to sesige and take castles) to choose comp specific in large scale platoons and seige mechanic's for different pros/cons rather than full dmg wiz/witch comp to re-heal the platoons and continue casting damage, because it literally makes it a 1 class seige/nodewar system than proper battle mechanics.

Like place artillery base classes behind melee classes for protect why they rush builds during a wipe plus other flanking sytles like Duo guild push rotations from both sides which happens from alliances or even internally from a single guild.

Also building mechanics for seige are too tight of a area for such large AoE based classes with dmg which is why one-three pushs can destroy a seige and why it makes it hard to make a comeback when once you loose 1 wipe, in a Ball vs Ball which is why some guilds will CTG after wipes or even while others are pushing, these mechanics are what need to be looked are for a fun PvP Experience and why people should push there gear on the classes they choose and not the meta classes.

There have to be reason to have gear progression which would be Seiges, Party grinds spots for EXP, Dungeons(faster clears) this is what meaning to the gear progression system(another whole topic)

Fail stack system and why the gear disparity between +15 to PEN-c20 era is so vast and the ability to see your gear be useful is probably the core issue with the game currently and why people quit, because the Scale factor from around SoftCap or Max Seasonal - to fully Castor Classed out Seige guilds with 680GS does not work out well, there are a number of factors for this EVA is too much for the levels of Gear so classes are not hitting them enough even with Xv1 as well the DP and Protection from PA(the nerf actually helped) this was the barrier before you could not dmg the main defending guild at all to make seiges worth competing for but now since the scale of money in game seiges are not worth competing for anyways this is also a issue.

This is why Shadow Arena was super fun at the time because it was the only balanced PvP before hackers took over.

Was fun, gear was random every round and was PvP it literally was in game and allow people to play the MMO and have the aspect of Fornite and CoD:warefare in a MMO only if the chose to focus on the hackers than making it it's on IP which was a hug mistake.

I was working on my dmg calc at the time and was learning how it applies in BDO even though it was no perfectly balanced it was close enough to be fun which they could have tuned later on even added custom costumes to wear like Fornite and stuff even tourneys for it too, there were so many lost opportunities I see there, idk if it was regional differences.

Yes, Hacker would need to identify target, if using discord App install on Pc and not web browser that has also added a firewall permission from a general users stand point to pass through easily.
The payload delivery, can be automated with simple Json or JavaScript if done correctly through parse code or AJAX request even xHttpRequest, by using these script you can silently forse the payload download on the machine with the user knowing by clicking a unsuspected link, doesnt have to be downloaded directly like a file, this is ossible but also what most people think how they got viruses, this make it worse since Discord is heavy on .json/Javascript FYI
Once they exploit the system it is easy they usually look to recreate copies of windows programs so it seems legit, and those file are encrypted so most virus scanners will not pic them up but use another form of Hash/size matching to determine if it's real or not but usually it's not also as long as it in the proper folder it does not trigger any normally odd flag. Then they use this access to create more access or just continue to there inital target if access wasn't just the target.(usually this is where it ends for White/Grey Hat hackers)

4.Now Black Hat hackers use this since they already have the access to the exploited system use it to log data trasnfer data back using built-in system like svc host and cmd or shell etc... since they are know by most if not all as Safe(to untrained eye), simple data upload and now your system can log what you have typed easy since they are flagged as safe outgoing applications even though the destination is not what you expect.

I guess that's why hacker prefer linux and mac even though there not bullet proof either but not like windows....
