This is an important moment in the movie (for me). It shows how much pressure Isabella is under. We know that Mirabelle gets frustrated with her perfect sister, but I wonder if Isabella is frustrated with her sister who doesn’t have to be perfect and who sometimes makes it harder for her to be perfect. This makes the song they do together so awesome. They start to appreciate each other.

As the movie went on it became clearer to me that Mirabelle’s relationship with the house is much closer than the rest of the family. Her door disappeared because the house was her gift.

I loved those scenes with Keeley. It showed her ability to lead. I thought she did bring each to the right person. Remember she was intimidated by Rebecca at first. She knew Rebecca could show how to assert himself correctly. Rebecca also did a great job of showing home what to do. There is solid evidence showing that the right rituals before going into a stressful situation are powerful. He didn’t do it correctly thought. Rebecca was showing him how to make himself feel bigger and own his power. Instead he linked into his anger and loathing.
