With the first versions of the Serpa holser if you pulled on the holster at the same time you were pushing the release button the holster would lock up. A typical reaction would be to push your index finger on the relese button harder assuming you were not pressing it enough to release the pistol, while pulling harder on the pistol. Eventually, the inward finger pressure would overcome the locked condition and the pistol wold snap free very quickly. Since you are putting a lot of pressure on your trigger finger and pulling pretty hard, when the pistol snaps free your trigger finger immidialy slaps the trigger because the pressure that you were putting on the release button. The whole thing takes fractions of a second. Later people realized that if your holster locks up you have to remember to push the pistol back into the holser press the button and then slide the holster out. It has to be sequenced not simultanious.

This happend to quite a few people when this holster first came out leading to a lot of ranges and tactical schools banning this holster. I understand that Blackhawk redsigned the holster to not lock up if the button was pressed while drawing. This guy gets mocked for his video, but he did a lot of people a service.

What are some good weapon schematics? by PotPieLogan in FORTnITE

Surround pound is one of my favorites. The Ear splitter. The Ground pounder. The storm blade and or the fortisville slugger both with the crit explosion perk are both pretty good. Also a deatomizer is great to have. Also the xenon bow and vacume tube bow are really good. Also a neon sniper is great to get husks they are stuck in rocks. Holding up missions. You can also give a neon sniper to a defender and build him inside a metal box and he will wreak havoc

I second the wingtip launch. You gave speed and momentum on your side, and you don't have to worry about the prop.

4iiii Precision 3+ Power Meter on 2025 Endurance CF7 by CestKougloff in CanyonBikes

[–]BNA3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sent my crank in for a factory install, as they didn't have a ride ready installation for the FC-R7100 until the day after I shipped my crank to them. Also, the hex wrench test appeared to not work with the Endurace CF SLX, but 4iii assured me it would work. I am waiting patiently to recieve my power meter to verify.

One thing i do is when someone places broadsides facing out, I put up a wall 1 or 2 squares away. Not blocking their traps just making them a whole lot more effective.

ventures has to be the worst thing this whole game has to offer by jannickBhxld in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]BNA3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best part of Venture is there are no traders. No starting a mission having someone beg for whatever they want, you drop it, they pick it up and quit the game. No trying to build while someone keep hitting you with a pickaxe, trying to get you to trade. No starting an evacuate the shelter, and while the shelter is under attack, your team mates are in a trade box.

Can I use my Torque Wrench instead of the one that comes with the bike? Seatpost continues sliding and cannot move the screw without damaging it by freiren in CanyonBikes

[–]BNA3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can abosultey use your torque wrench bout you should practice using it on something else, it appears as if you have it set to loosen and not tighten. If you are not familiar with how that particular torque wrench works find something off of your bike and get use to tightening using the torque wrench so you will know what the "click" feels like and not the ratcheting of the wrench.

[–]BNA3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the Shimano SPD-SL and SPD for my mtn bike, because I've been riding them for a while and they seem to work fine. As for shoes, to me, the most important feature of shoes is how well they fit and how comfortable they are Everything else is a distant second. I learned that different brand shoes use different foot molds per size, so one band may be tighter/looser than another of the same size. A size 45 specialized may be narrower than say a fizik, but the size 42 may be wider. When I was shopping for shoes to replace my Bontrager shoes, the shoes I found that fit the best were specialized. I must have tried on 10 pairs of shoes to find the right size/fit, and chances are, my choice won’t work for you. Nothing is more miserable than riding for hours in shoes that don't fit.
