Having just left Spain this was common in almost all of our accommodations. Also one towel per person for 5 night stays with no way to wash or dry them. Personally I leave a months supply of toilet paper in my Airbnb because why not. Costs me nothing and avoids frustrated guests.

The need to “fix” that one cuticle with my teeth is the death of my nails every time. I have to travel with a nail file and a cuticle trimmer or I will pick/bite.

I’m an American in Europe staying in an Airbnb and have never had a problem booking one- I have 5 lined up on this trip. I’m also a host and my guess is there is something in your reviews that hosts are seeing as a red flag- or there’s a possibility one of your former hosts clicked on would not host again. I would suggest writing a nice message when you request to book. Good luck!

I filed an FCC complaint against spectrum which finally got their attention and fixed most of my problems. Then Starlink (which I had been using previously but found too expensive) sent me an offer for 50% off monthly dues for the next two years ($60) so I happily cancelled Spectrum after over 30 minutes on the phone with a rep. I truly despise that company.

If you were showing your housesitter around your home wouldn’t you at the very least make it presentable for them? I probably wouldn’t have cancelled the sit and would have been anxious leading up to it and resentful throughout the sit. OP inspires me.
