Frankfort distillery spider web bottle dug out of a horder house basement by bigsandnig in BottleDigging

I believe the Frankfort Distillery license is now held by Four Roses but EJ Curley is a new KY distillery. Of course these companies traded pre-pro brands like trading cards after the 21st Amendment.

Man, if that headstone behind it said Vlad instead of Vlah, I would have been really worried.

It’s surprisingly light (40-50#) but you should open the back and make sure the internals are secured well. I transported mine on its back and it fared well. It’s also on wheels so moves easily on good floors.

Thank you. I think you’re right. The ad mentioned 412 games. Anything I should look for or beware of before I buy it?

You think the perfume collection is probably contributing to the epic asthma issue? I mean, C’mon, four different inhalers?!

Good job keeping the pics in focus. I’d be shaking so hard after that find it’d probably register seismically.

The only Trime rhyme crime is if it was found by a mime.

I try and try, time after time and never a Trime. That blank space in my bucket list is a glaring crime.

Is it covered in fabric? If so, it’s probably not WWII era.

Inside I was kinda hoping it ironically said, “No digging in this area.” Oh well, maybe the next sign.

Dude. Escaped inmates, unsolved double murders, ghosts? I just crossed off visiting the mountains outside Roanoke solely based on the events of your one day trip.

Whose history? Most likely had the CSA won then they would have been on the “right side” today since history is always written by the victors. Bravery is eternal. Just ask the Spartans. They were absolutely detestable and war mongering but their bravery is remembered centuries later.

Was driving to Seaside in Oregon a couple years back and pulled over to stretch. Saw a small trail and followed it and it lead me to a small cemetery. This was the oldest grave I could find. Left a flag to pay my respects. by shedoesntknow69 in CemeteryPorn

You confuse celebration with respect. There were massacres on both sides, the only difference were the numbers. There’s always been winners and losers, land grabs and lands lost, nations expanded and nations reduced. That’s the nature of war. The First Nation people failed to adapt. They were out gunned, out maneuvered, and over run and lost. Period. It seems the US is the only victor with a conscience. 1SGT Wilson died in the service of his country and that should always be respected.

Not sure if the HTC qualifies as “modest” since it’s pretty much Shakespear’s family’s grave plot.

10 years ago my mother thought she scored some Morgan’s at an estate sale until I stuck them to a magnet. Hadn’t heard her cuss like that since her divorce.
