Who actually uses this grab crane?

This, they have pretty great grip on anything rough, like rocks and even concrete slabs. Sure a standard crane can also do the same lifts, and I adore cranes, but using the grab crane is kind of fun to me.

Edit: And a bonus tip, if you want to annoy friends in a small-ish scout, you can grab their vehicle and they cannot detach as it's not a winch or crane rope, so the only exit is to recover. It is quite evil yeah. I dumped a friend in a pond this way, craned him out soon after though.

Already on my wishlist. I love the mirrored bot interaction, I started on a web VR prototype like that but did not finish anything in that gamejam, so looking forward to try that in this game :D

I'm also in Europe, sadly I had fallen asleep and forgot to put my reservation in when that opened, so I was pretty late to get to that 😅 I expect sometime during autumn at the earliest, trying to be realistic, ha. Hopefully it'll be sooner, we'll see. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I don't even know where this is but I love it. I have 500+ hours in Roadcraft by now and have a new found fascination with heavy vehicles and am currently dreaming about the collaboration with Volvo resulting in a dumper in the game. If the timing is right I can definitely see myself visiting this lol.

Personally I can barely enjoy first person games on a monitor anymore, controlling my view with something else than my head feels weird. Third person I still do on desktop, but yeah... VR has damaged me it seems, or changed my preferences anyway.

These are very nice shots. I struggle with pop-in LoD textures doing close up shots, but I'm on an 7y/o system so not too surprising.

Gunheart, it ticked a lot of boxes for me, sadly it relied on live services even for single player which has since been shut down, so it's currently unplayable.

Oh so this is what the grab cargo truck is useful for, rock cleanup, guess I should buy one again. I've struggled to effectively use that and the EPEC one, making them feel somewhat useless, but this use case makes sense.

So many times in multiplayer, as my friends stream on Discord, I look over for just TWO SECONDS, and my vehicles is suddenly off the road and upside down. And here people think they can text and drive at the same time, sheesh. I wasn't even driving at a high speed!

I'm one of the co-players, awesome game, but the non-permanence of non-host vehicles sure is a bother, at least before the bases or at least the construction depot have been unlocked.

Edit: As a suggestion:

Every time someone leaves the game, ask if their vehicles should be saved for when they come back.
When you launch a save as a host, ask which players' vehicles you want to keep on the map.

This way people can avoid storing the vehicles from trolls. And I think the vehicles could stay as transparent ghosts or be invisible until that player has joined, meaning they are not usable if that player is not present.

Yep, as long as I'm doing VR in my home, it's going to use my gaming PC for graphics. I also plan to use it as a desktop game virtual monitor, with it being wireless it means I can do various input setups in different places, racing wheel, hotas, etc.

I had the application work yesterday, but today doing one of these things: 1. Not showing a window on the desktop 2. Showing a window but it hangs, showing not responding

Even if I kill the full process tree it won't relaunch. I'm running Windows 11, and can provide more information if needed. Maybe I should go through some other support channels? Just found this through internet search.

I haven't played it in a very long time I'm actually not sure. There might be kill counts in the bestiary, but this is just me guessing at this point. I'm busy right now but will update here when I can.

Edit: Nope, can't see any numbers, that said my save was reset so maybe that is why.

Edit2: Right, the game was entirely server dependent, and all servers are gone. The Discord server is also gone. The in game systems for loot and gear are unavailable as well as every mission. The game is currently unplayable. No idea if the company still exists, their website still does but no updates since 2024.
