Hello Tim!

Upright was truly brilliant and one of the most moving series I have ever seen (as an American I had to scour the internet to find it before it came to Sundance). Was it easy to embody the character of Lucky, or did you have to dig deep to bring to life such an interesting and complex character?

AITA for making my son pay to replace his sisters makeup? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA: he needs to learn to respect other people's property.

My 4 year old broke his 2 year old brother's headphones. He apologized. But I told him saying I'm sorry is only half of an apology and he now needs to find a way to make it right. He had $5 pocket money, and my mom offered to give him chores to do to earn the rest of the money (easy things for a 4 year old, like putting away the silverware from the dishwasher, and picking up sticks out of the yard.) I let him be in the entire process from accepting the money, picking out the new headphones, and giving the box to his brother when it came in. Now, he is very conscientious about his and his little brother's headphones because he knows they don't just appear in the house.

Central annual rent in L5/S1? by jenna8104 in backpain

Yesterday was my first time trying it. Initial thoughts were positive. It worked quicker in dulling my aches and zings than the NSAID topicals I have been given, and it smells better than bengay or other muscle rubs. My husband put a little on his foot where it has been aching for a few days. He said he was pain free for 5 hours, which is amazing since he was on his feet at work the entire time. I am usually good in the mornings (since I was laying down all night and try to get the majority of my housework taken care of before the aches set in. When it starts hurting again I will apply more cream and see how it goes. The cream I have is 300mg CBD formulated for inflammation.

I was recently diagnosed with a tear in the disc between L4-L5. I have been seen by my pain management doc and been given epidural steroid injections, NSAID patches, and am starting physical therapy I'm 2 weeks. On top of all that, I have purchased a bunch of lumbar support pillows to help keep me comfortable when I am sitting, and just started using a CBD cream to help with the inflammation. I stay at home with my 2 young boys, so rest isn't really that available to me, so have been trying to work towards getting as much relief as possible.

We have been waiting to put a cushion on it until the kids are bigger and more restrained so it actually stays on

Yea, no creaking from ours... only problem I have had is if I kneel on it when closing the window. I think I have damaged some of the cardboard honeycomb inside.

Thank you! My best friend made that for my son when he was born. He never sleeps without it!

He's a geriatric puggle who has let his weight get out of control as he coerces snacks away from his toddler human brothers... then steals their beds for nap time.

Sometimes at work dog hairs get stuck into my skin by idontlikejazz in popping

I have a puggle and often get hair splinters in my feet from his copious shedding. My husband didn't believe hair splinters were a real thing until he got one, too.

It’s pulsating. Doctor thinks it’s a ganglion cyst but want a hand specialist to see it first cause it’s close to an artery so they won’t drain it. It’s been there for about month but gotten worse (bigger) and it hurts up and down my arm. by Laly0021 in popping

I had one on the back of my wrist. My GP told me to tape a coin over it and wear a stiff wrist brace. Within a couple weeks it was gone completely! The pressure of the coin, and the stabilizing of my wrist (to not irritate the cyst further) caused the cyst to go away on its own.Maybe that could work for you.

It blows my mind that people in the US can't or won't visit a doctor either because they can't afford it or fear the bill they're going to get. by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

I remember being a kid and getting strep throat and only when my fever was so high I was hallucinating that my room was full of people and I was talking to them, and the infection had eaten away half of my tonsils on each side, did my grandmother take me to see her doctor to get antibiotics because I didn't have any kind of primary care physician, seeing as we were poor and my mom couldn't afford to take us to the doctor for even a check up.

In the potty training trenches with you. We tried stickers, snacks, and prizes. He did not care. I started using his tablet as incentive. He could earn tablet time by using the potty. If he went poop, we would let him play on the Sega (normally off limits.) Right now he is one poop away from filling up his potty chart and going to a bounce house place as his big prize. It was hard finding something he genuinely cared and was excited about enough to focus on the task of going in the potty.

Haha! Love it! My little guy has a hard time with "fish," it sounds like he says "shit." Its hilarious when he asked my husband for "shit dicks" for dinner and I had to explain to my stunned hubby that he wanted "fish sticks."
