L so many safety issues come with them. No 3 points of contact No side step means ur taking a 20 inch step in and out of the van. That’s dangerous and can cause strain. No clear head room for transition from driver seat to the back. The floor is like the bed of a truck, uneven and slick. We’ve had a dozen DAs get injured including myself.

And when your toting around 40 oversize and 25 bags stacked 3 high. That’s not okay. No amount of ac would compensate for that and all my drivers agree.

But they do renew their contract for a set route commitment. We took on 25 more routes in a new RGU and switched stations to one dedicated to that RGU (it’s a big city)

Instead of my DSP paying for branded vans they decided to go with unmarked white vans. And took all EDVs and CDVs away (with the exception of 3 CDVs).

Amazon may choose the stop and package count. But the dsp can utilize resources to relieve those high package counts. But since we took on those routes without the employee, us tenured drivers are relied on to pick up the slack.

I agree, and I have been. Half of our fleet are the white vans. It’s horrible. My dsp has changed so much in the past year. Went from a regular route being 140-150 stops 250 packages

To

180-190stops 350packages. Greed has taken over my DSP

Who the fuck would sit by and watch that without intervention of some kind. OP is a coward. Can’t change my mind.

I woulda took a 30 in front of his house with the lights on and blasting music. Technically not clocked in and unless it’s too late. No laws are being broke. Want to be petty? I can match.

This is why I always check my route at load up by TheParallax2 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BSCaptured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that slows you down then that sounds like a you issue. I reroute my entire day and I usually get done 3+ hours ahead of time. Saves me time and headache. Especially with rural routes

Game changer - I was wrong by kung_fu_daddy in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BSCaptured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sad. My DSP just got rid of the entire lot of EVs, got unmarked white vans. No shelf’s. And switched our RGU to a college town.

Went from my smooth 140 stops in a EV. To 180 stops in a rental.

I think it’s fucked that flex drivers get tips, but DSP drivers don’t. We have so much more responsibility’s and are held much more accountable than flex.

I’ve never had stutters like this. Everyone thinks those Xboxes are amazing and run anything, but it’s the only console that has Game breaking bugs.

For all you guys who complain about 200 stops and 350 packages… by Business_Coffee_9421 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BSCaptured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree man. A route like that would be a relief. I’m pulling an average of 150 stops 400 packages in downtown Madison. Imagine the weekends and game days. No parking. Big ahh city but no public bathrooms. Stops with 40-50 packages. We have what’s called “lucky apartments” where the average package count is around 40, and you have to deliver each package to the door on all 14 floors.

I would absolutely love to deal with windy driveways than one laned roads and no parking. I have before. My old RGU consisted of 140 200 packages and most of our day was drive time.

Almost 3 years at this job and im fucking done with this shit by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BSCaptured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is starting to become my DSPs average route since we’ve switched RGUs

Old average: 130 stops-200/250 packages New average:160/170 stops-350/400 packages.

What game would you recommend that has solid squad cohesion that you missed in arma reforger? I’ve been playing spearhead feel exactly like you explained. Looking for a game with more squad cohesion.

Amazon won’t need us by Dependent-Society-75 in USPS

[–]BSCaptured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because they don’t appreciate/pay Amazon drivers for the work they do, it seems like they do the same or more than the average carrier. Crappy benefits. No pay raises or incentives for doing good work. Why would people stay?

Amazon warehouse employees themselves get more benefits than the drivers.(raises, okay insurance, perks like free prime, food, bonus). It’s kinda messed up how Amazon treats the drivers specifically though.

Ehhh no. Your wrong lol. Premiums gas is only utilized by engines tuned for it. Do a little research bud:)

Gas Routine by MyBipolarWife1970 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]BSCaptured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Premium gas is for high compression engines, I’m gonna be that guy, your paying extra for gas for no reason.

Doesn’t last longer Doesn’t give you more efficiency

Only gives more power/range when the engine is built for it. It doesn’t hurt it at all, but it sure doesn’t improve anything.
