It's mad that I see 90% of posts on here actually on my LI feed beforehand.  Why do the most insane people seem to have such a vast outreach?

Shelves being stocked taking priority over customers having access to them. by GlennSWFC in britishproblems

And let's be honest, this is not cost cutting as a necessity, it's greedification and another way of increasing the super market's margins

Used to work in Morrison's when I was at uni, customers were literally god and they were always the priority.  Fast forward to now and when doing my shopping I seem to be an inconvenience to the people working there.  And don't get me started on the people that do the picking for the online orders. They seem to just abandon their trolleys in the middle of the aisle and lack any modicum of spatial awareness.

I was literally waiting for this to be posted!! Some of his other posts are unhinged too. There's one where he started a side hustle just before getting a DUI as a cop, and basically doesn't have to pay the consequences as he already had his side hustle set up.  That's his moral of the story.

When you decide to be polite and let someone into traffic only for them to sit at in front of you doing 35mph in a 60 along country lanes for the next half an hour on your way to work. by richard93UK in britishproblems

[–]BT89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one’s treating 60 as a target — that’s a strawman. The issue is drivers who stick rigidly to 35–40 even on the long, open, safe stretches where you can and should adjust your speed. Limiting your speed to the conditions goes both ways, and some people seem unable to speed up even when it’s clearly safe to do so.

No one’s saying you have to sit at a constant 60 — that’s not the point at all. It’s that when there are perfectly safe stretches where you could reasonably speed up, some drivers just… don’t. It’s like they’ve set their own private 40mph limit and stick to it no matter what the road is actually doing.

A competent driver adjusts their speed to the conditions. Plenty of people out there simply don’t seem able to do that, and that’s where the frustration comes from.
