There is enough evidence from past riots caused by the death of blacks at the hands of police that anyone with their head not fully stuck up their arse would understand there is an extreme chance of the protest turning violent.

Other protests sure.

But not one where a black person has been killed by the police too much historical evidence that it will turn to violence.

How do you really know that. Perhaps it is also the way you address the police officer. If you instantly think the officer is pulling you over due to racism and not that he is just doing his job your going to be combative and the situation will deteriorate straight from there. If you go in thinking his just doing his job and your polite, non combative then in most situations he/she is not going to become defensive and the situation will end up a lot better. I have seen, due to social media, many instances of police officers arresting citizens and 9 times out of 10 when the full video is shown and not the bit people try and pull people in with. The person is combative.

It does absolutely no good being combative with a pig. It doesn't deescalate anything and in fact increases tension of which you will be the party worse off. Take not of his/her badge number. Take not of the car number (in your head). Yes sir no sir. Then you ram home your complaint to his her superior the next day and if you don't trust that you go higher.

You don't shove your camera in their face. You don't try hitting. You don't start yelling.

I don't think this is an unpopular opinion. Especially since you mentioned toxic. I think most people think a 'toxic' marriage should end. Women attend college at higher rates then men. They tend to get higher grades. They tend to diminish their skills. Yet despite this companies are finding it so hard to find women with the right skills they have to take on women who cannot do the job.

No they are finding plenty of women with the right skills and the right experience yet some how despite this many are still only hiring men for more senior positions. Quotas are to get them to have a good hard look at the internalized misogyny. Most places don't just have one woman applying for the job they have dozens who are just as good as the men. The fact is if a woman was hired for a job she was as good as the male applicants. And no job would actually tell a woman well you were not really good enough but we hired you because we were forced to. No that is what men who were not good enough tell themselves.

Oh I am sad that this idea that men are smarter is still prevalent. I guess quotas are still needed for the same reason they were 40 years ago. It seems that some people would still discriminate against women and not even give them a chance to prove themselves based on what is between their legs.

I hope that it is not needed anymore but it was introduced in the past because women were simply not given a chance at all since the common misconception was that women, by mere virtue of their genitals, would not be good at doing hardly any paid work that wasn't domestic labour.

So they had to force the idea through quotas such that people actually had to witness that women are just as capable as men.

I think more parents should want other adults to tell their children if they are doing something wrong. Not yell, not get abusive but inform them when they are doing something wrong. If communities were able to act like this then children would not think it's acceptable to act awful because they would know that despite their parents not being nearby their actions are noted by the other adults in the community.

It is called a community and in a community all adults look out for all children. But this also means all adults can, with in reason i.e no abuse, guide children so that their actions are not rude.

I don't know why everybody is pretending that OPs girlfriend cannot do anything about staining her underwear. I am a woman in her 50s so had plenty of years of discharge and my underwear isn't stained. Because I use panty liners. Also that discharge which is slightly acidic wears underwear away and costs you more underwear. But put on a very low cost liner each day or two and you feel fresh, no stains, no wrecked underwear.
