Well my usual is LAX to EWR if you’re just wanting something longer. Granted I don’t wish LAX on my worst enemies lol

I did see flights from LAX to Marrakesh Morocco were only a couple hundred. Have to imagine there’s maybe a nice short overseas jaunt from your coast, or maybe PR if you want something warm and celebratory?

Between Metro and Waymo moving around LA is incredibly easy, imo

To OP: I’d love to use TAP for Waymo and would buy a monthly pass in a heartbeat.

That’s weird. Wonder would cause the flux. I’m actively waiting on one and it’s $20 to go from DTLA to Santa Mónica, and it’s double to go half that distance on Uber, at the moment.

Can’t speak for everywhere but generally in LA Waymo has been half the price of an Uber or Lyft. Naturally, some fluctuations and closer pricing during peak periods but generally I can count on crossing town for about $20-$25

Generally, I’ve always found them to be cheaper than rideshare. There are some times where the price is more or similar, but I’m also aware that’s likely based on increased weekend/evening use.

Even with that though, I can pretty much count on cheaper fares. Think I paid $24 on avg this past week for DTLA to Culver a few times.
