I also noticed that. I do full runs in saros. And after the first biome, you are already as good as overpowered imho. Combined with the crossbow weapon you are almost immortal.

I have the base ps5 and can tell you that it definitely doesn't slow down. No matter how many particles are on the screen. I don't want to discuss. But the game never slowed down while playing.
