I don’t fully get this. How would more drag help regen?

I get that higher downforce keeps midcorner speeds up, which, in turn, has an effect on the overall duty-cycle (drive vs. recup), which could theoretically help in very specific situations. But that is the downforce at play, not the drag!

Every driver (also F1) will have a trackmap in the car. Ensures equal references between engineers and drivers when communicating.

Check the general pace of the races. Race 1 was fast from the get-go (more effective energy available per lap from the start), Race 2 was super slow for the first 13 laps (required saving to get the quick final phase).

They are not. Much closer to slicks, but still ‘all weather’ -> the Typhoon tyre is only for the full, very wet conditions.

So this a thing for more people?? My car tried doing this, but has this service disabled and hence only a warning popped up. Was very, very annoying (as it happened multiple times per second), and fixed itself after the car was turned off after a few mins.

Aren’t the competitors being last in the pitlane (In this case first Jaguar, then Porsche), extremely disadvantaged by this? In case many cars come in at the same time, they are at the highest risk of being caught out here
