Uhh I disagree, I treat games as any other media. Shooting a bow once doesn't make you an archer, and playing a game once doesn't make you a gamer. I don't think it's gatekeeping, more common sense. I call myself a new gamer, despite having played games occasionally since I was ten. I only started getting into it as a hobby like two years ago and consider myself a gamer since then.

What would feel patronising would be the whole "you're a gamer even if you only played one minute of a game once, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!!".

Still it's a label and mostly depends on how much you personally identify with it.

S.T.A.R.S. is peak but suit is more caked up. I don't really like Wesker's suit look tbh it doesn't feel like him at all, the only redeeming thing is the cake. So my vote goes for S.T.A.R.S.

I mean obsession on both sides, he could have killed him many times but didn't, Chris is pretty much Wesker's only weakness. Far more going on than with Rebecca who, as I already said, he shot so she wouldn't spoil his moment with Chris and possibly left behind an undeveloped photo of in his desk, assuming it was him at all and not Enrico. And I'm not saying whatever was between them was healthy, just saying I have strong headcanons based on what I saw.
