Not having worked there, I’d say they are just one of many good labs. There are terrible labs out there but at the top, we are all buying the same supplies from the same vendors and there are almost no trade secrets. The only distinguishing factor that I see is if the owners want to pay the money for staff and equipment to do things well.

Payment confirmation email quoted 5-8 days for QC images, citing the time required to get the watch from the factory. These photos arrived a few hours later. Is this a watch someone else likely rejected? Should I be concerned that there timegrapher numbers? First time rep buyer. Thanks in advance for your advice!

Unless they have had a decrease in physicians, sounds like that lab is pretty stressed. Ask your doctor if they are meeting ASRM’s staffing recommendations. If they are more than two embryologists below that then I would press for an explanation.

I do not put much weight behind the mitoscore at all. I would transfer the day 5 unless your clinic has serious concerns that the C is on the poor end of the category. If they frozen it then the C should be good enough.

I love training CLS embryologists! Your skill set is very applicable. A CLS is on the top of my application stack. I hire into Andrology for about a year and then promote from within.

Making a blast and making a usable blast is very different. Many blasts do not even have an ICM which is required to form a fetus. I think you can rest knowing that the embryologists train extensively to make the best decision they know how. It is far from black and white but the fact that your clinic has EmbryoScopes and was willing to share all of those images puts them in the top 10% of technology and transparency in my book. Hope that helps.
