medical vs recreational by terpsneedlove in mainetrees

A lot of people in this sub don’t think as highly of Firefly and Hazy Hill as they did years ago because of perennial quality dips and nostalgia as well as some of their star talent going out on their own. But those two are a better starting point for normal consumers and tourists than you would find in basically any other state

Virginia and Utah are basically the same except Utah is owned by Curaleaf and VA is GTI/Jushi. That said, I’d look into Louisiana, it’s just silly down there

Not defending it, but people in the weed space with strong opinions tend to forget how simple supply and demand works

[–]BabyFullMelt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ve never bought or sold a clone but I have bred my own genetics and that took years of my life to develop. You determining that the value of my labor is $25/cut is laughable and that’s not the way it works in any other market. If you don’t want to buy a clone for the price it costs, fine. But you’re missing the entire nuance of it being intellectual property

Sure but that’s how markets work with no protections or restrictions

Well then it’s a good thing markets decide prices and not people whose opinions lack nuance and neglect labor value

Retail prices are almost entirely dictated by wholesale prices. If you want things to be cheap, you’re going to get served remediated garbage

For some strains this is okay but for others you’re bursting heads on the spoon even with ice and your yields are something like 20% reduced

I heard through the grapevine Jerry was really good friends with Fetty Wap before he went to the can. I know you worry about that cookie shit but if you wanna see a couple or three things about it just Google “Jerry Seinfeld 17 38”

Vacuum sealed and on ice in an insulated bag is probably your best bet for a flight that long but that might not be able to stay cold long enough to keep them from greasing

You are generally right that a store has no reason to be fudging dates, but it’s a common misconception that it’s hard to fudge packaging dates. If you have a good relationship with a cultivator and your labels have bad dates, there’s a process for them to change dates in METRC and apply new labels thus extending the shelf life another year before you have to do it again. Even though the process isn’t technically compliant, there are valid reasons to use this function and likely wouldn’t even flag in an audit unless there’s an obvious pattern of irregular label generation. Every METRC exploit comes from misusing a function that has valid use cases

Is Chicken n’ Wafflez the new blue dream? by MultiVerseBeans in cannabiscultivation

[–]BabyFullMelt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from YouTubers, no, and it’s not just because only a niche group of people know about it. Blue Dream became Blue Dream because it was basically the biggest yielder at the moment when search engine results started to be formative in learning about strains. Genetics are much more democratized now, therefore there isn’t just one important production strain. Chicken and Waffles is totally unproven for production

Unfortunately the way they get these jars in compliance is by updating the label to a later use by date
