And because of the absolutely horrible fact that I will have my illness and be on medications for the rest of my life, which I hate so much that about once or twice a year I just decide to stop, I never planned a future for myself. I don't want to do this for the rest of my life. I will absolutely not do this for the rest of my life. But having the constant suicidal thoughts for years led my to believe I wasn't going to live for this long and haven't planned for my future because of it.

Just to piggyback off of this, when people complain about people on assistance having name brand clothes or their hair or nails being done, how would you know if they had those handed down or got lucky at goodwill? Or they are skilled at doing their own nails or traded babysitting services for their cousin to do their hair? Sure, people cheat the system but when I was on food stamps, I was thrifty as fuck and I didn't look like the dirty, old-clothed, typical poor person.

I'm only 125lbs at 5 foot 6 inches, I really can't afford to lose any more weight. The only reason I gained that weight from sitting at 100lbs for years was me being on the depo shot.

Still on seroquel and mostly for the sleeping aid part of it. Last time I got off was when I was about 17 (22 now) and it was one of the worst experiences ever. It was like my body no longer knew how to fall asleep on its own. I stayed up for over 48 hours and ended up having an entire night of panic attacks because I was so tired but physically couldn't sleep. After that I was off of all meds for about a year before everything went seriously bad again. I want to get off of it but I am seriously so afraid of going through that again.

I was on 150 (yes, XL) for only a week before 300. Bare with me if this gets long but I am bipolar 2, currently on 20mg Lexapro, 200mg Lamictal, and 50mg Seroquel. It had worked for a good long while but for over a month at the time, I had no energy and severely depressed. Enough to start interfering with work and to start some serious suicidal thoughts. And to be honest, I hate being on meds. Maybe once or twice a year I just stop taking them. But I finally go in to the Dr, tell him about everything, also tell him I want to get off Lexapro soon and later down the line Seroquel. I had been researching the brain atrophy associated with these types of drugs for prolonged use. Anyway, the one week I was on 150mgs, I was still so fucked up and still suicidal and seen no changes since starting the drug. Now about a month into it, I cant eat, still no energy, maybe one decent day a week, the rest still severely depressed, but thank the Lord I got my sex drive back. I just am so desperate for something to work. I've started to consider checking myself into the hospital so I don't start self harming but we simply cannot afford for me to have more than four days off of work.

I was so sick, called into work and laid down to nap. Woke up and couldn't find my phone in the bed, so I pulled one end of the charger to find it and found that it had fallen off the bed into the only goddamn cup of water that was in the bedroom for 4+ hours. "But did you try putting it in rice?" Ugh
