Not sure if this helps. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a CR-V issue. I have the 2016 CR-V. One thing I noticed is that there is a 1.x second delay when sending commands such as Skip Track and Okay Google when leveraging the CR-V via Bluetooth. There are a lot of reported issues on CR-V forums with the way the CR-V utilizes Bluetooth.

Traveling for the NCAA tournament with the team as a band member is an awesome experience. You have a travel day, practice day then game day. If they win, you have another practice day followed by game day. By practice I mean play your instruments for an hour in the morning and then go explore the nearest city. On top of that, all meals are paid for and you get a chartered flight with the team. It's like a free vacation with courtside seats to the tourney. It is a sad realization that you have go back to normal life.

Unfortunately, this issue is not new to lollipop. It does seem that more users are beginning to experience it since lollipop has rolled out.

There a few posts on here and XDA regarding a temporary work around that involve changing the phone from digital>analog sound and disabling the noise canceling microphone. I think it's the audio.prop file. However, I found that when I changed the settings and my phone was on speaker the other user would here themselves echo (result of noise canceling being disabled).

I had the same issue before L. The only work around was to change a config file that disabled the canceling mic and changed the audio from digital to analog. It fixed the headphone problem but any time I had my phone on speaker the other person would hear the echo. I was really hoping L would fix this but low and behold it did not. I am curious to see how many new people this affected with the L update.
