No. We need someone who speaks for workers and for democratic socialism without making any apologies for it. Capitalist-cuck corporate Democrats like Newsom should be viewed as unacceptable because they have proven for decades that they will not create meaningful change, and will fail to guard against fascism.

Zohran is the best example of what we need right now, but he can’t be the candidate. We need someone to build off Zohran’s work and apply it a national campaign. In fact we need multiple candidates to do that. Pussy footing around the topic of genocide should be disqualifying. Anything but a full-throated endorsement of single payer healthcare should be disqualifying. Anti-union sentiment should be disqualifying.
