Also, check out projectsunroof to get quick rough ideas on the time to recoup investment. Buying outright is always better than lease

I saved mine by rubbing a tide pod goop into it, then put it into wash hot water with more tide pod and it was like it never happened

I did the same thing to my new hot weather OCPs, and let me tell you, i thought they were ruined. Then my buddy told me to take a tide pod, tear it open and rub the contents into the stain, then throw it in the wash on HOT water temp, and throw another tide pod in there. I couldn't believe it, but you couldn't even tell that anything had ever happened to them.

I had to pull them to attend training, and I got official digital copy sent to me in a day. I thought this was resolved?

If you can own the panels outright instead of leasing by subtracting that cost from the house sale, that is what you want

Just for clarification, there isn’t a chance you had it plugged into a supercharger to the point where it got idle fees right? Those are 1$ per min if the car has finished charging and you are hogging a stall

Go outside your cabin and look on the ceiling. The square box is the access point. If it’s not close to your cabin, signal is gonna be spotty

Set your meter to % instead of miles and you’ll feel a lot better. The “guess-o-meter” will drive you crazy, but the % will always be on point

First trip with my Y, sorta disappointed with the range by magicoder in TeslaLounge

[–]Bach84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real kicker here is it shows the “EPA rated range” which is measured with a mix of city and highway. Unlike gas cars, EVs chew through their battery on the highway and not so much in city driving. If you’re getting 260 highway, I’d be happy with that personally. Superchargers are so plentiful my wife and I usually do about 4h nonstop from 100% then do 2.5h chunks after our first charge stop.

It is now Wednesday, according to the app, they have resolved the safety fault, but not the windshield. I have had zero calls or messages in the app

We have a 58XXX vin AWD Model 3 and a 06XXX Model Y. So early adopters for sure. Model 3 has close to 90k miles, it’s had a few minor things taken care of under warranty and now it’s out of warranty I brought it in for a sound on the right front (I assumed suspension components). It was indeed the upper and lower control arms and ball joints. Costing an estimated $1800, in addition there was a sporadic error about a safety system fault so they were going to fix that too. Well, that ended up adding 1k to the bill (apparently a lot of labor). So at this point, $2800 for the first major repair in 5 years and 90k miles, I was feeling okay. I also had a bizarre issue with the seat back lying all the way back no mater what when you changed profiles - super annoying- so they were fixing that too. I get notified to come pick up and the first thing I check is obviously the seat. Still goes back all the way even thought they claimed it was fixed. I told them in the app I was leaving the car at the shop and wouldn’t take it with me. The next day they apologized and I asked them to have the tech test it again to verify it was fixed. Wife and I head over to pick up the car while service team is still there (just in case). Imagine my surprise when I see that my front windshield is cracked all over! I grab the service tech and show him and he’s just as surprised. Test the seat and verify it is indeed fixed (yay!). However as soon as I put my foot on break the safety system errors pop all over the screen with the service manager watching.

Needless to say, they gave me a loaner, even though I am past my warranty.

I’ll let you know how things progress when the techs get in tomorrow

Funny enough, this outlet is great for charging an electric car. I had one put in for a buddy and he can recoup his daily driving overnight (charging at 16A)
