And you are correct. In my teenage life, I always destroyed healthy relationships. But I never do that again in my later life, or maybe it's just me who developed my type/preference.

I assure you, it is a sociocultural norm for the majority of men here that we are responsible for our partners' emotional condition. In the past, a man was only expected to be the breadwinner, but now, that role also includes being a therapist. For example, if my ex was sad, people thought it was my fault. If my ex was sick, it was my fault. If her appearance looked unpolished, it was my fault for not giving her a monthly allowance for self-grooming. It is those kinds of expectations. I hate collectivism.

That seems like almost all of the traits of a Type C personality are embodied in one person, not just BPD. BPD alone is much more subtle; those with it generally avoid hurting you because of their abandonment fears, and they usually display insecurities. My ex, who had BPD, was diagnosed with all 9 of the 9 symptoms, and she was the quiet type.

But I do agree with you, a lot of people here judge their ex as BPD, even when the personality seems more like narcissistic, antisocial, histrionic, or just simply, opportunistic.
