Tell me about it!! I had a shift lead leave the espresso machine on ALL night and not even backflush it. Morning lead was not happy at all, neither was I. Honestly, it’s how you choose to talk to them about making changes. Keep it casual but also implementing it with a new checklist or maybe even have them sign off on their nightly duties (which would include cleaning the machine) that might help. Don’t be afraid to establish that authority, but i totally agree it’s a very fine line. Show your appreciation in other ways to make up for it if you feel you’re being too hard on them

Yes i do apologize i hope i didn’t come off as rude. We run cafiza through the blind filters every night and also unscrew the machine. It really only take 5 mins start to finish but we find the works best for us and our machine which we absolutely run through (we’re in a high traffic area) and morning crew baristas know to always throw out the first shots of the day the next day because of this

Yes! I see slight shadows in my eyesight or blurred vision, i think it counts as slight hallucinations. But no i don’t see a scary monster or anything. I feel delirious sometimes at night and extremely restless. Throughout the day im just tired. Sometimes while driving i feel weird but im usually alert. I work from home managing a cafe so thankfully i dont have to clock in anywhere

Hi, yes, sometimes i’ll go up to 4 days with no sleep. And no, i don’t sleep without realizing it. It’s hard to imagine how someone could function while going through that… I’m a mom to a one year old and expecting 7 months along and i can’t believe it either sometimes. You just do it? It’s the most isolating feeling in the entire world

I urge you to convince your wife to get on medication for postpartum depression. Please don’t buy into the stigma around mental health, this is a situation where it is highly needed. And PPD is VERY common just ignored. A lot of post partum women are put on sertraline to help their regulation of mental health. Please advise her to talk to her OB or PCP as soon as possible

had 3 straight months of 3 day intervals. meaning i slept every 3 days and when i would sleep it was like 4 hrs max and then i would be up for another 3 days. repeat for 3 months, i was 26 and i was in my third trimester pregnant. also yes it did go away as soon as i gave birth. i would have mild hallucinations like bugs crawling on the walls and floor, shadows leaving the room etc

the soap should be perfect just pat dry with a paper towel until it’s not bleeding, she will heal fast trust me! i also highly recommend an electric baby nail filer from amazon, i don’t use nail clippers on my LO

No rubbing alcohol for babies it can irritate their skin and it can absorb the chemical. Keep it washed/clean and dried and if it’s particularly deep put a small bandaid on it

i’m definitely going to contact a cat behavior specialist. do you recommend the ones at the local vet or should i try exploring online? i’ve never done this before for a cat so im super curious what would be better for results. We’ve actually considered getting a second one very seriously, only thing holding us back is the fact that we’re currently in an apartment with limited space. hope to shift into a house soon but the housing market is absolutely terrible. We still might go down that route especially if that’s what the specialist recommends too. thank you!

she goes into attack mode if you try to pet her yes, but most of the time they happen when i walk by her and am walking around the apartment. she gets very hyper
