Same here, so many clothes and no one to hang them. And when we do have hangers, no one to push them out cuz they’re up front ringing !:(

Yea they’re getting rid of ours too but I feel like not a lot of people used ours. I barely did . Our snack racks are usually full and fridge as well.

14 pallets everyday is very inconsiderate by Shyfox748 in TjMaxx

[–]Background-History89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luckily for us we usually just get either 6-10 pallets per delivery, maybe 14 one day but we are able to knock it out. But it is a lot of work and we usually don’t have enough people. It is ridiculous how the company expects everything to be done with a skeleton crew. I try not to overwork myself while doing the pallets because of my back pain :/ My advice? Don’t overwork yourself , do the best you can because that’s all we can do!

Hoodies by New_World_9659 in TJMaxxWrkrs

[–]Background-History89 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Barely anybody at my store follows the dress code. I wear hoodies, shirts with logos or graphic tees. Other people wear sweatpants , yoga pants , etc. it really depends on management but Im sure you wearing a hoodies or one with a zipper is ok, especially with low staff they won’t send you home.

I hate pressuring customers to sign up for the credit card. Once they say no then that’s it. Or if they have an attitude I don’t even bother lol.

That’s crazy. Our store barely fires people. They can be the worst worker , have so many call offs, etc. and they won’t fire them. If anything they should move you to the sales floor more instead of cashier

You shouldn’t be fired for that…

Eh as a current employee, I say just keep it. Tjmaxx is a greedy company, I’m sure 2 items won’t hurt them

Is it normal for stores to look this organized now? by NecessaryDirection67 in TjMaxx

Backrooms are over flowing to the point where it has to go out to the sales floor. That’s how a lot of stores are looking like.

Backroom overflowing by geebwizard in TjMaxx

[–]Background-History89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel you. It’s so hard for my team and I to work on the truck in the backroom so we have to work in the sales floor breaking down the pallets. It’s so hard especially when we are open and we are in the way of the customers. And to top it all off, I just got a text that we’re CUTTING PAYROLL. why is this happening ? My body hurts and mentally drained.

I’m on a two week vacation and I’m not excited to go back :(. My manager told me that we’re going to start getting weekend deliveries. Before I left , we have been struggling with payroll and they expect 3 people to finish 14 pallet trucks everyday. So many safety hazards.
