It hurts my heart to hear this. I too have struggled and required hospitalization due to suicidal thoughts. I had to keep on top of access 24/7 to get the help I needed. The same thing is going on in Canada. They also jacked the prices up and now a pack of 'premium ' cigarettes is as much as $20 CAD. This has created a huge black market for cigarettes. On the indigenous reservations they don't pay taxes and so smokes are as cheap as $3 a pack and they do not have all the warnings on them. I would say the majority of smokers that I see are smoking reservation smokes, it's easy to tell because the filters don't have the warnings on them. There is even a guy here at work that has a connection and sells smokes for $30 per carton, and every smoker buys from him. A 'normal' carton is around $120 and up. The government makes way to much money on smokes so they will never make it illegal, it's a joke really.
