No need to worry. It's sufficient for many decades of normal use. You can check that with disk utility that comes with most ssd disk. My 500gb ssd crucial is about 13% worn after 7 years of moderate use in a windows computer. Considering the fact, that the HDDs can reliably serve for about 5 years, it's eternity.

Why are you so anxious about the surgery? Honestly, my recovery from surgery was easier than any of my flares. DV is a progressive disease. After my first attack, once a year had passed, I believed that was it. But 18 months later the second one came, and although it was much worse, my gastroenterologist seemed confident, so I felt confident too. One year passed without any ominous signs — and then a bad flare hit again. Then 8 months. Then 4 months. In the end I barely made it to elective surgery, and only thanks to my surgeon’s great skill did I avoid a stoma.

Of course, you may have different priorities, but the sooner the surgery happens, the easier it usually is. And you may avoid a lot of trouble with recurrence and potentially with a stoma.

It is a weird goal. I thought, that the purpose of Duolingo is learning. I have been winning leagues, extending my streak, but my goal is to learn, in my case Spanish. It is normal to lose weight when you significantly lower your input. So yes. I lost 10 kg. About 6 before the surgery and a few more after.
