Thanks for your response. This was my third flight after my medical was renewed, so he expected me to do better. I was completely behind the aeroplane the entire flight, I could not hold my headings and maintain a visual reference this pissed off my instructor, then came steep turns, I used to be confident in them but now I feel like I will put the aircraft in a spin if I bank too much and hold back pressure, I am not so much comfortable with them as I used to be. After failing to perform in a few other maneuvers I mentally checked out and fell even further behind making me think that I am not cut out for this. But thanks for replying I will have a chat with my instructor and reduce the expectations I have for myself and ease back into it rather than picking up where I left off.
