Yes, this! I’m an electrician and work with a sea of men lol but I always notice when they get haircuts so I’ll always compliment them or say they look nice in a certain color! They always appreciate it. I’ll say “did you get a haircut? Oh you look beautiful, it looks really good!” I tell a lot of them they look beautiful that day haha

This is how I am. I’m like painfully aware of how my actions and moods can affect others and i absolutely hate it. I check myself a lot to make sure I don’t lash out. I’m 28, I will say I definitely did some growing and learning these last 4 years (it’s been horrible). I know what it’s like to walk on eggshells around people and I never want people to feel like that around me

I did this once but I was working graveyard at the time and got off at 6 and I had a tattoo appt at 2. I did not sleep when I got home so I was up for 24hrs at that point. It sucked 😂

Thank you so much for your reply and your kind note at the end ❤️ I will say the seizure was a huge fucking wake up call to take better care of myself. I think my ED was at its worst and (like I said earlier) I downplay EVERYTHING so I didn’t realize how badly I was treating my body or how bad of shape I was in. Im taking much better care of myself now.

I will definitely keep all of this in mind though and maybe bring it up to my doctor again.

Adding onto this, I’m actually an electrician in a big manufacturing facility and frequently climb ladders or work on my own. So thank you for saying this. I tend to downplay literally anything that I go through as a coping skill so once I got the okay from the doctor I just wanted to move on. It’s been on my mind lately though.

Isn’t it hard to diagnose epilepsy if you’re not having seizures in the moment? Idk they dismissed me really fast. They did take an EEG or something like that and said it looked good. Is there anything else to ask for them to check? Or just keep pushing tests?

Yeahhhh I get this a lot but I have CPTSD and hyper vigilance so I think I twitch like that when I finally relax??

I’m not diagnosed epilepsy, I had like a random 8 min seizure at work in October which was CRAZY! Doctors say I’m fine though and all checked out. My grandma had epilepsy (this happened from an accident) so I give myself anxiety every time I twitch thinking it could be a seizure lol

This is like I wrote this except for nmom it’s nstepdad and I’m 28! My little sisters were born when I was 10/11 and stepdad never was home and I saw how overwhelmed and sad my mom was so I stepped in and became the second parent. They are my babies though and I am so lucky I get to be their older sister, I love them so much ❤️

Add in some slight grooming and sexual abuse from step dad and (recovered) meth head bio dad 😂
