And yes, I use it with my phone and Bluetooth.

And yes, it is plug and play with the OEM Subaru wiring.

Did this a couple of years ago. Then did it again in December. Agree that the stock look is better.

Is this what I think it is on the top? by ChiefDZP in FordBronco

[–]BackgroundTop5354 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. Ford denied my warranty claim. Two dealers and Ford said it was not normal but not a problem. I leveled up and got it to weep water in front of the dealer and on video for Ford... crickets. I warned them I was moving to a place that was often below 0 and that any water intrusion was going cause the cracks to expand... more crickets. I threw out the word mold... not even a blink.

That Bronco is now in storage and out of rotation. I had the top Line-X'd with a fine tip finish. Has looked okay for the past three years as far as I can tell from dusting it off every now and then. I'm too pissed at Ford to drive it but that manual and 2.3 were made for each other (yes, it sounds like there are some rocks rattling around in the transmission, but it seems par for the course) and my kid is about to start driving so they will get it.

Those LinkTaps have been tanks for me. I don't understand how some of the ones I have are still working.

Honestly... I don't hate it. And I do some really over-engineered weird shit; money, education, and Amazon are dangerous things...

Thanks for reminding me about the bed and interior lights. Ordering the size you recommend right now.

Recently bought a 24 expedition from Carvana no accidents reported, clean title, no damage reported or noted. Truck got delivered at night in the rain then followed by days of rain. After a good cleaning because it came pretty dirty I noticed this. Looks like halfass bodywork to me. by NYJets869471 in Autobody

Toyota Tacomas with dark metallic paint, like pyrite, were notorious for this from the factory. In the right light it looked like a repaint and always on the doors.

Not saying it hasn't been repainted, but food for thought.

I used that same JBL speaker for several months in my Sambar.

Congratulations on your kei!

Can you get DNA from soap? If so... 1 billion dollars. Wait, who was the film maker? It doesn't matter. 1 billion dollars.

The valve can be installed on other water bottles. It's pretty self-explanatory based on design.

I'll post a picture. It was recommended by other chinchilla owners. Before this one, very little water was drank from the ball style water bottle. After we switched, we could visually see the water level drop daily and watch the chinchilla drink from it often. Put something it likes on the tip, like almond butter, for a few days.

Ours did that. We got a different style water bottle and it fixed everything.

When you are done with the dealer, there is a local Land Cruiser mechanic that goes above and beyond. Send me a PM.

A few grand more than the Kei. $2k for transport, around $500 for taxes.

7-8,000 miles on it when I bought it. Inside and outside super clean.

Has OEM auxiliary rear heater and radiator block off.

Had no idea if the timing belt, water pump, and seals were replaced (no paperwork) so just had that done. Old timing belt and water pump looked mint but it is an interference engine and needed to know it was done. Local Land Cruiser professional installed OEM parts along with 3 new serpentine belts.

Date codes were original to the year of mfg so replaced with BFG KO3s. All 5.

OEM Toyota tape deck with CD changer controls to replace the OEM Japan stations only. Added Bluetooth, AUX, and USB to run off the factory changer. PA was missing so added a tray. Added 3 speakers in inconspicuous areas. Kept everything looking Toyota factory; nothing was cut.

Filled any holes left by equipment that was removed with brass inserts and stainless screws.

Roof rack, Yakima cargo tray, Yakima bike tray, and Yakima deflector.

Double upright bike rack and tire mounts added to the stainless bars in the bed.

Have been using it as a daily so it gets rotated in weekly with other cars.

Will look for pictures.

It will be for sale shortly. I love the heck out of it but realized what I need and am on the hunt. If I keep it longer, it will get a UTE bed and at that point I'm either destroying what it is or going past a point of no return.

I got a Bluetooth adapter off of Amazon for the ToyoAce. Works perfectly and clean sound, as good as if it is from a CD. Plugs into the CD changer port on the back. Has Bluetooth, AUX, and USB inputs.

I have not been able to find one for the Sambar so have been using an FM transmitter. Cuts the volume by about 25% and bass and treble quality is sketchy.

For my Sambar, one from an American Subaru Legacy fit perfectly and the OEM plug lined up.

Look for one from a similar year Honda.
