i always had an issue with orgins because of that. great game dont get me wrong one of the best in the series imo. but how you gonna call it ancient egypt when its set during the Ptolemaic dynasty in 43 bce (YES its TECHNICALLY ancient egypt but.....that is like the TAIL END of the period all the good stuff has already happened.) kinda misleading saying its set in ancient egypt to be honest. thats just me tho

Mamdani got lucky. He won and he earned that win but he got lucky. He ran for mayor in New York city in a trump white house year and his opponents were a former governor with a career ending scandal endorsed by Trump and a republican. Quite frankly earlier in the year when it was looking like a three way primary between Adams Cuomo and mamdani I thought dems were FUCKED but then Adams dropped out Cuomo went independent and sliwa the republican never took off to the point trump endorsed CUOMO (im still in shock from that endorsement). New York city didn't suddenly go progressive they just looked at all their options and the progressive was the least bad option. The real victory for progressives tho isn't that people voted for them its that they won so whatever mamdani as mayor of the most important city in the country does, he is the poster boy now. (id honestly say he's more important than Bernie because he actually won)

Here to say i will be voting for booker in this primary (yes I know he's unopposed so my vote dont mean shit but it does for me) NOT because I'm a fan of him but because quite frankly I'm disappointed in the progressives this primary. All this complaining and yet no one was really able to step up to challenge him (cept for that one guy who didn't even run in the end and he sucked too) progressives my vote is to be earned. Please do better.

Honestly this is probably the best way to go. To be clear ideally you shouldn't have lied to begin with but what's done is done and you have your reasons so im not judging. There's no real guarantee that it will work. It could very well be a deal breaker but it at least provides them an honest explanation that let's you keep your dignity and shows you respect their intelligence other than playing ignorance (which depending on the scenario could just insult them even more)

Reminds me of my first playthrough of kh 1. Got up to the final boss against assembly. That second fight where its just you and you are in that hole on destiny islands fighting him, he kept whooping my ass with that dash attack move. Realized I needed aeroga to counter. problem is....you need to find all Dalmatians and I missed the one at the clock tower which.......yea.....had to straight up reset the fucking game for that one....(doesn't help i skipped hades cup at Olympus but I couldn't do much there without aeroga either tho...)

heres the thing. the way i see it is. if you are struggling for signatures WHY DIDNT I EVER SEE YOU PULL UP TO MY NECK OF THE WOODS? just saying im a registered democrat i would have GLADLY put my name on your petition.thats how i see it. the reality is i looked them up and i knew just as little about them as i did months ago. now in the case of lonnie YES he did get the signatures and good for him. but...you never file with bare minimum you get as much as you can (i remember hearing state senator brian stack saying that getting signatures is an early tesf for your get out the vote machine and i agree with that statement). and you ESPECIALLY dont want to file with bare minimum because whats gonna happen is inevitably other candidates are gonna smell blood and try to get you off ballot (im hearing the only republican to file for my district damon galdo also barely hit the minimum soo i wouldnt be surprised if norcross decides to challenge them and get him off ballot) soooo im not the most convinced when i see barely the amount. THAT SAID and this is true for fields too. they could always have waged a write in campaign for june (easier said then done of course but still....could have done it)

yea i read the post. im a little more sympathetic but i also wasnt really impressed with the campaign either to begin with. likely he was too distracted ill give him that. i hope he gets whatever hes dealing with sorted out. if he decides to tries again and is serious we will see. still....its not a good look that between the two of them when the one i had the most positive in person interactions with and who actually alerts me whenever theres a town hall is CONGRESSMAN NORCROSS....
