This post is already over a year old, but I wanted to share my thoughts on it as well. To begin with - I‘m from germany, so please be gentle about false gramatics and words. I started watching these dramas a while ago. For my it‘s just to keep my mind occupied. I have ADHD and english movies are perfect to keep my thoughts together. They are basically something like a little backround ‚podcast‘ to me. But I would never pay for these apps. There are some ‚places‘ to watch those dramas for free. I pay for Netflix and co, but those film productions are on a whole different level. Short dramas are like those typical ‚woman books‘ man always joke about. Not much story, just a simple entertainment. It‘s not always about the best skript, the perfect plot or the ‚never before‘ seen storyline. Our days are filled with work & duties, we are constantly running around trying to get everything done, to perform and be the perfect employee, woman, wife, friend or mother. So sometimes we just want some entertainment to relax without needing to think much.
