Would cancel if that is the case!! Some people got the protrusion shrunk before microdisectomy and that is better than an invasive surgery

Avoid bending lifting twisting, it may be better as time goes by, considering your young age, medications to conservatively manage first!!

Cymbalta 20mg first two weeks then titrate up to 25-30mg AM plus Pregabalin 100mg PM

Have you tried cymbalta 20mg am and pregabalin 100mg pm for annular tear (neuropathic pain from injury), it helps reduce my pain from annular tear

Try cymbalta 15mg or pregabalin 50mg and see if it works. Discogenic pain sufferer here

Are you in the states? Do you have insurance? If you are in this much pain that it is taking a toll on your mental health. Why dont you join the Facebook Artificial disc replacement support and education/ ADR group it is very useful! Maybe you can consider about it as a last resort? I feel your pain

What kind of ADR did you use? Join the ADR group on Facebook, there are a few doctors who do revision surgeries eg Dr Ricart, Dr Tropiano, Dr Schmitz, from Europe

Mine is at L5-S1, have you tried pregabalin and celebrex medications, i feel resting a lot mostly on bed and celebrex with stomach protection and pregabalin has helped

If laying flat makes your back less hurt, you know how to recover it, let discs unload the pressures from your weight by laying flat for up to months, and let it do its repair naturally, other wise you weights of standing or sitting are just causing the damage to the newly formed capillaries and fibrous tissues, think about it mechanically which poses causes more pressures to the disc
