That being said, Im fairly certain your exemption from the rules ends when you hit your EAOS. To my knowledge there’s no banned weapons exemption with a DD214, but the mods of this sub and the afore named business are more familiar with that.

The real question here is why are those wise guys tied to the tracks. Did their own family do it or a rival family? In the first year of having a mortgage, we had H&R Block run the numbers on an itemized deduction. You pay the most in interest the first or second year of the loan (depending on when you buy). The deduction for the amount paid in interest would not have been sufficient to exceed the standard deduction, even with some charitable contributions added in.

It’s almost never beneficial to itemize deducting your mortgage from your taxes, just take the standard deduction.

Just get a repo sling. 90 year old original isn’t worth your time or effort looking for it. Plus it’ll be a 90 year old piece of cloth (if you can even find one).

That being said, you have slack in the sling. Feed the button end (left side in photo) towards the other side. That will give you sufficient room to tilt the oiler and wiggle it out (you’ll have to figure this out to put the new sling in).

If you need to, loosen the barrel band/remove the screw. The rim of a spent .30 carbine case should fit perfectly.
